South County Urology is an excellent example of a well run office. All of the doctors, nurses, and medical office staff are professional, kind, caring and helpful. This office is truly one of the best that I have used, both personally and professionally.

The normal wait time is about 6 months. My next appointment for the same cystoscope was to be in December. Oncologist said SOONER!As I said, Dr Heffernan personally pushed it sooner! I appreciate that.

My journey has been long. Being at my whits end and 95 years old I was losing hope that I would be able to live a productive day to day lifestyle. The team at Doctor Heffernans office , shout out to Talia Coppola APRN ,who was patient and knowledgeable. Because of my frustration Talia recommended the placement of a Suprapubic tube into my bladder. Doctor Heffernan performed the procedure and found kidney stones That he removed during the same procedure. Two days after surgery I’m already feeling like a New person. I highly recommend Dr Heffernans office, the entire staff is welcoming and patient driven. Over nearly 30 years with Dr. Heffernan I know from first hand experience that he is, among many other positive things, an extremely kind, caring, honest, dedicated, exceptionally skilled, capable talented physician and i would put my life in his hands without hesitation.

Dr. Heffernan is a very competent physician who truly cares about his patients. He listens carefully and explains things in terms a non-medical patient can understand.

Had a condition which turned out to be cancer. Dr. Heffernan was helpful through out the process. He went out of his way to answer any questions at any time of the day or night. He is everything one would want out of a doctor. I cant give a high enough recommendation for this Doctor.
