My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in Jan. 2010. In the spring of 2010 he had his prostate removed robotically. During the surgery Dr. Hansen punctured his rectal wall and his bladder causing a fistula to develop. He did 6 more surgeries to rectify the problem. Same surgery each time expecting a different outcome. The fistula was never healed by Dr. Hansen. The only thing he ever did good for my husband was to call his former professor at the University of Washington. He referred us to Dr. Volsky, who in the spring of 2011 performed a DIFFERENT surgery and it was an immediate success. In 2015 the cancer returned! Because of all the previous surgeries that Dr. Hansen had performed, his prostate bed was so compromised he could not have radiation. It is possible that the radiation could have stopped the cancer from spreading to his bladder, liver, and spin, but we will never know. Sadly, he passed away. He was a special person and is missed so much.

Have seen Dr. Hansen 4 times in last 2 years and am very satisfied. Today I had a cystoscopy and felt at ease and received excellent and professional care. Dr. Hansen is thorough in both recommendations for testing / scans and appropriate treatment. Will leave another review post-surgery...but definitely great so far.

Dr Hansen is the best kidney and urologists in my opinion.9years of up to current procedures and works well with other doctors as well as solo.Complete trust and satisfaction.

I have been a patient of Dr Hansen for over 13 years. He is professional, caring and along with his staff they treat you with respect. He has always been up to date with the latest medical procedures, medications and guides your decisions with your well being in mind. If he can't help your sitiuation he recommends other to doctors for you.
