Dr. Hamersma is extremely astute and found a life-threatening problem that the specialist overlooked. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and talks to you, not over you. He definitely has his heart in the correct location and does his job with compassion and empathy.

I see Dr as our family Dr. He is knowledgable and if he gets stumped he will study on the subject to get you the needed answers. He is always kind and professional. He jokes with the kids and puts everyone at ease. His staff is kind and works hard too get you in. I am very happy with all he has done for me.

Treated my Dad for the past 10 years. Very patient oriented and works well with the family in decisions about medication. I would recommend him to anyone.
