This doctor is an absolute gem. A real human being; he listens, he cares, and is he very thorough. This was an excellent experience, my appointment with him. I also referred a friend to him, and my friend had a most positive opinion of this doctor and of the treatment he received.

I am an M.D. myself and recommend Dr. Getsos very highly. He takes his time explaining any questions you might have, he does not hurry you through your visit even though he is quite busy and he knows so much about geriatric medicine . Even more than I do...which is not a surprise. Seriously, he is an excellent M.D. and glad I am his patient. Joe Stevens, M.D. in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Ever since I moved to New York about 14 years ago, Dr. Getsos has been my primary care physician and my experience has been good, thank you, in observance of National Doctor's Day

Tried to schedule an appointment for 2 weeks now. Both Maria and Rose are the absolute worst! Very rude. Both lack professionalism and are completely condescending over the phone. News flash, if you can't handle your job and have a nasty attitude- do not work at a place where you need to provide quality customer service. Sad that Dr. Getsos came highly recommended but due to the poor service, I will go somewhere else.

After years of horrible primary care physicians I found the best doctor in NYC. I love this doctor so much I wrote him a 3 page letter of thanks after my first visit. You can thank me later if you make the switch to Dr Getsos.

Don't go to this doctor. Just called the receptionist (looking for a doctor)/ She said I can't get an appointment until December. I asked her if I became ill if Dr. Getsos would be able to have me come in on short notice. She kept repeating, "His next available appointment is December. Very rude and inconsiderate in my opinion. Get a new receptionist Dr. Getsos.
