Dr. John Gburek, MD

I was referred to Dr. Gburek for knee pain. I mentioned I was also experiencing back pain and he quickly began helping me with both. We’ve worked our way through several therapies and he’s been great along the way. Super responsive, very thorough, and listens well

I have been seeing Dr. Gburek for a number of months for lower back pain. I was referred by my neurosurgeon to avoid a very extensive surgery. Dr. Gburek was both compassionate and professional from day 1. He and his staff are always on time, which matters a lot to me personally. When I started with Dr. G, my pain level, on a scale of 0 to 10, was probably a 15! He recommended a series of different procedures and, little by little, each one began to give me relief. Dr. Gburek has given me my quality of life back, and I can now say I am pain free.

Doesn’t respond timely to refill requests, leaving you in severe withdrawals; Rx instructions confusing. Doesn’t respond to messages. Dr. Raffi used to handle my case with excellence. suddenly switched to this new doctor who is not up to the same standard of care. Doesn’t understand insurance issues. Had to be treated for severe hypertension due to withdrawals & had to cancel visit to cancer center.

Dr. Gburek has been exceptionally thorough in his initial evaluation of my symptoms and physical status. With my back pain escalating day-by-day he suggested a treatment regimen that has greatly improved my quality of life. He is exceptionally responsive (a rare trait in doctors these days) and easy to work with and easy to communicate with. I very highly recommend.
