Excellent Doctor
Dr. Garner was direct and to the point(which we liked), but caring and very helpful. Even though he was not concerned about the original reason that I had been sent to him, he did not treat me like I wasted his time. He listened and continued to help me understand what was going on with my heart. I have been frustrated and wanting an answer for more than 3 years, and Dr. Garner was quickly able to explain it and to help me manage what is going on. I appreciate him and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Garner performed a catheter ablation for atrial flutter. The procedure went perfectly, the flutter is gone, and I found Dr Garner to be a knowledgeable and caring professional who explained everything very thoroughly and listened to my concerns. I read some reviews that said Dr Garner was rude but I think he has a great personality and bedside manner that put me at ease. I actually did not meet Dr Garner until the surgery, I had been seeing his very capable NP Emily Ghazarian, who had thoroughly explained the procedure and made me very confident in Dr. Garner's ability. I would highly recommend Dr. Garner.

He performed my first pacemaker in May of 2018. It was a nightmare. He wouldn’t listen to my concerns and “talked down to his nurse and me in his office”

Took almost 2 months to get 1st appt. Took 10 minutes with me to get to know me. Ordered more blood work and set 2nd appt for 6 weeks later. At second appt I waited 75 minutes before telling the receptionist I couldn't wait any longer and would ed to reschedule. When we did met to discuss the results he was extremely rude and condescending!

I am 61 year old male with STV. Dr. Garner was just great during the 1st visit and with my wife after the procedure. The procedure went as good as I could have hoped for. and so far no more STV symptoms. The whole experience went way better than I had imagined. Thanks Dr. Garner

Dr. Garner did an amazing ablation procedure on our 85 year old mother. He ran into unusual circumstances but treated it like a challenge not a problem. Dr. Garner took all the time we needed to help us understand what went on during the surgery.

Recommended to Dr. Garner for my A-Fib Cardiac Health Condition from a Dr in Branson, MO. High heart rate (resting 110 plus rate plus on script meds); I was really lost and confused as I am 56 and this doesn't happen to someone my age. (ya right) Upon meeting Dr. Garner l knew who the boss was in the room and he did not mix words or his approach to getting me back on track. He is the leader and will take full responsibility for everything! He is a dedicated man to his profession!! :) :) :)

Dr. Garner is direct, to the point, and wants to do a good job--attributes I personally prefer in a doctor. He explained the surgery process clearly to me. He prefers accuracy over (false) precision in dialog, which leads to exchanges like: Q: How long will this procedure take? A: As long as it takes to do the job. Q: What's the recovery time? A: Depends on what happens during surgery. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my PSVT ablation surgery. I would trust him with my family.

One of the best Doctors I have ever worked with. He will tell you like it is and straight to the point. He did a great job of keeping me informed and then worked beyond what I could have expected in the ER. I'm a father with 8 kids and this was very important and scary but he made it all better with his professionalism and personality. Thank you.

Going into this whole thing, this is the first major heart problem I have had and I was scared to death. His confidence and bedside manner was great. He did a really good job at explaining what was going on and what he could do to fix it. He made me feel confident that I was going to be ok and he was going to fix the problem.

Dr. Garner seems cocky, but he's SMART. I see now that he cares about his patients. I was referred for a tilt table. He asked for symptoms, then asked specific questions. ANSWER HONESTLY. Instead of gradually tilting me 30-60-80, I went from flat to 80. He diag. I fit all POTS criteria, and didn't have to administer inducement drugs. I didn't need test #2. Neither of those are "fun." He got results w/out unnecessary stress. He also agrees I may have EDS, even w/ feeling it's becoming a fad diag.
