Doesnt listen, cuts you off, interrupts you when speaking Doesnt explain anything. Went to my patient portal and he puts down things I didnt say. Go in with visible inflammation, beat red hands, joints and cause my blood work was normal put in my chart I was fine with no visible issues. Several other issues I would not suggest for anyone to go to him. 1

Dr. Gardner did not treat me for the issue I came in for. He “diagnosed” a separate issue that I already knew was there. He was very flippant and did not seem to care about what I was saying or listen to my history.

This doctor doesn't listen to your concerns and pain levels. Instead takes 2 minutes to look at you and make a decision. Poor bed patient care.

I would not recommended this Dr. He didn't explain anything just pretty much said I don't know what's wrong but your blood work isn't normal. Cut me off when I was trying to ask questions. Left very Frustrated!

WAY better than my rheumatologist in my bigger, fancier city. He actually listened, plus was able to figure out side effects of my prescriptions and help me correct them. My old rheumatologist's lack of listening and lack of trying things led me to get progressively worse under his care and to have to stop working, but got progressively better (and back to work) under Dr Gardner's care. I was very lucky to have him and wish I still lived in Topeka so I could be his patient.

Was looking for a diagnosis on my heath issue, started with my general practitioner who sent me to Neurology for tests which came up negative, who referred me to Dr. Gardner. He was exceptionally attentive and had a very good idea of what I had before I set foot in the door. At the end of my first visit (late in the day) he had one nurse holding open the lab and a second checking surgery schedules for a biopsy. I can't recommend Dr. Gardner enough - he's an amazing Doctor!

Dr. Gardner does not take time with his patients. He disregarded most of my symptoms and told me they could be psychosomatic. Years later I found I was positive for EBV and Lyme. I have never disliked a doctor more.
