Extremely rude!
This man says he has been practicing for 35 years. Perhaps it’s time to retire. When you work in the ED you most likely see people who are scared, hurt, sick or all of the above! Take the time to actually listen, and take even more time to educate! Dr Fernandez was so short and rude last Friday evening with my daughter. Perhaps it’s time to retire if you’ve forgotten why or what it means to be a doctor and take “care” of people.

Worst ER Doctor EVER
Was sent to ER by my heart doctor because of low blood pressure 80/50 Immediately he dismissed me just by my looks I wasn't doing so good, He treated me as if I was a nobody and he almost killed me I almost had to be intubated from his miss diagnosis! He interrogated my 12 year old granddaughter who was scared out of her mind and didn't call my husband because he was trying to cover up what he did! If you ever get him as your doctor if you can RUN!!!! you might not be as lucky as I was. And yes I am scared of any hospital now because of him!

Absolutely the worst ER physician I've ever seen
This man can't manage the basic functions of his job. An embarrassment to have such an aggressive, confrontational and unworkable physician on your staff.

I can't imagine a worst emergency room physician than dr. John Fernandez at Sebastian River Medical Center emergency department. My almost 90 year old mother fell and split her head open and lost consciousness, she was brought into the emergency room by fire rescue dr. Fernandez did not call for any type of test to determine the extent of her injuries and discharged her without cleaning or dressing her wounds. Dr. Fernandez is a incompetent doctor who shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine.

1/10/16, Sebastian River Medical Center ER, I explained my intense back pain and apologized for my uncontrollable outburst. I screamed out in pain. Dr. John Fernandez said, ?Shut up! Shut up or I will leave the room!? Embarrassed, I apologized over and over and explained, ?I cannot help it sir, I am so very sorry!? John Fernandez then said, ?Yes you can help it, now shut up!
