Mixed thoughts about him
In the ER he was fantastic: friendly, explained things in layman's terms, etc. Made me feel I was in good hands. He said I needed a cardioversion. Two days later time came. Numerous staff was in position when Dr Evans walked it. He never once spoke to me and I was nervous; scared, to be honest. I was sedated by staff. Next I remember is it's over. Dr was already gone. A nurse told me it went well. I was anxious to see my husband. I finally asked if someone could go get him and they said yes. He said the person who came and got him said it went well. He felt he waited longer than necessary to hear I was okay. He was so worried. I asked nurse if dr had an emergency but no that she knew of. I'm thankful the shock went well, that my heart straightened out and that the dr was correct in not finding any clots before doing the procedure and especially that I hadn't stroked. But his uncaring behavior before and after made us feel terrible. Hopefully I won't ever need his services again.
