He’s so rude.
I don’t know what his problem is. He told me never to come back.

An Untrustworthy Dismissive 'doctor'
I would give 0 stars if I could. He did not listen, made me wait over an hour for the shortest visit of my life. (2 minutes) He didn't even come in - I walked into the hall to ask someone when he'd be in - turns out I was right next door to his office - and he had the gall to say 'I was looking at your charts' as he walked into the room. Well that wasn't true because I was refilling a prescription and asked he leave it the same - well he lowered my dosage and didn't tell me, and also sent in an old prescription I TOLD him I didn't want. I called in to the clinic and told them my issues and they said they were not surprised to heard that he had changed the prescription without notifying me. Truly the WORST experience I've ever had with a doctor. DO NOT SEE HIM.

Wish i read these reviews before going to see Dr. Witbeck. He is extremely insensitive and believes he knows answers to your problems before you even describe your history. I tried to explain my personal & family information to him, but he was unimpressed and told me if i didn't agree to what he determined within the first 5min of meeting me, that i should just get another doctor. Frankly, he's rude and a know-it-all. Be prepared. Not to mention, 45 min late to our appointment. The rest of the hospital staff was extremely pleasant.

Aug 2020 I saw Dr. Witbeck for the first time. He seems like a superior diagnostician, even when I thought I had it all figured out myself. I was wrong about my ideas, and once he explained his conclusions, I believe him to be right on. His bed side manner is not comforting, like trying to make small talk with Spock, but I went in seeking answers, not trying to find a new friend. I've read some of the great and not so great reviews and the common thread is that he bright could be nicer. I'll take solutions over friendly in a doctor any day.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Witbeck over 20+ years. I find him to be professional every time. He’s attentive, asks questions and listens well if I have questions myself. He’s a no BS kind of guy and he cares about his patients. Ive never felt uncomfortable with any visit with Dr. Witbeck. His Foothill office is very accommodating and the people that work there are great. Today, I asked his assistant to get a very important message to him. Time was of the essence. Within minutes, he made a call to a specialist on my behalf that I have scheduled next week. Instead of setting up a separate procedure for a later date, it was added to one already scheduled next week, this not wasting my time and also paying another copay. As long as he’s around I will continue to visit with him when needed. He’s very good at what he does and that is why I go see him. If you’re looking for a new family physician for yourself or your family, give him a call. You’ll be glad you did! Matt Lipscomb

This doctor is very rude and very sarcastic. He doesn’t listen to complain and when you ask questions he is very sarcastic. This is the 1st doctor i meet that is very rude. I wouldn’t even think of coming back.

Saw the Dr. for about 10-15 minutes and explained my problem. He listened and wrote down 3 items. Two were referreals to a specalist and one was two a psychiatrist. We discussed the first two referals and when we got to the psychatrist i explained i saw no reason to see one and asked for an explanation. He said he could not help me and to go to the front desk and get my copay back. I asked for the office manager so that i could make a formal complaint. Rude man. I cannot say any more out of char

At a time of stress and concern, Dr. Witbeck was patient, kind and helpful. I know our medical professionals are on tight schedules and I respect the time restraints. Dr. Witbeck set me on a course of treatment quickly with explanations that addressed my concerns and I feel so much better. Thank you, Dr. Witbeck!

I would give 0 stars if I could. It's easy to schedule an appointment and the office is clean. However, I would only suggest making an appointment in the first place if you're in a hurry to be talked down to and lectured. I had been going to FHFC for years, I switched from my PA due to questions about the lack of care I was receiving for HBP and "Teddy" was rude and condescending. At least the PA had been funny and engaging. I saw Witbeck 2-3 times and each was more degrading.

We were in total disbelief of the service (if you can call it that) offered here. In the 2-3 minutes of time we were actually given, this doctor was rude, would not listen to concerns, and refused my mother any treatment. It was unlike anything we've ever experienced. This man should not be practicing medicine. I'm shocked he has two stars as a rating. If there were a zero-star option, that would be too high. He was a disgrace to the profession.

Dr. Witbeck is an outstanding physician. I happen to be a physician myself and I choose him for my own personal healthcare, and for my wife, children, brother, and parents! He is very knowledgeable. However, more importantly he has very good common sense and follows evidence based medicine. He does not rush patients through the office. He spends as much time as needed to help you understand your condition and understand the best treatment. He doesn't prescribe unnecessary treatments. A++
