Dr. John Durkin, MD

I had a consultation with Dr Durkins for Brown spots on my face. He told me that the CO2 laser would DEFINITELY get rid of all my brown spots. I trusted him and had this done. The price was over $1300. After the very painful laser treatment and waiting three months for final results, there was no change. I contacted the office manager. She referred me to Donnie, which I spoke to. The office called me back and offered me a different laser. They told me that the CO2 laser WAS NOT EVEN for brown spots! I was given total misinformation which cost me over $1300. I Wasn’t able to do a different laser because I no longer live in Albuquerque.I took this case to patient relations. After several months of going back-and-forth with the office and patient relations, I was told that the review committee, didn’t see any reason to offer me any refund. You would think that the DR! would know what HIS equipment is for! He should be held responsible. This is totally unacceptable.

Dr. Durkin was prompt, professional and yet so personable. He listened to my 16yr old daughter’s needs and desires and he came up with a quick, yet effective solution for the issue she’s had since she was a very little girl. Our daughter left the office, after a short procedure, and left very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Durkin for any of your dermatology needs. I and my husband both, will be scheduling to see him asap.

Dr. Durkin is a great doctor. He's smart, nice, took time to explain my possible condition to me. I highly recommend him. The only down side is that it's hard to get an appointment with him.
