Dr Duerden and his helpful, caring team went out of their way to answer all of my questions and provide accurate documentation required for my company. He really listened to me and thoroughly discussed my options for treatment. I’m so pleased I chose OrthoVirginia and Dr Duerden!

Dr. Duerden is a compassionate person. He really listens to your concerns! He tells you in detail about your diagnosis and what options are avaliable. He gives you a list of things to consider prior to making a final decision to proceed. I would recommend him to anyone that needs his specialty.

Dr. Duerden was the third practitioner I saw at OrthoVirginia. I was amazed at the efficacy of the entire practice from front desk on, and my experience with Dr. Duerden did nothing but further my outstanding opinion of them. After X-rays and consultation about the problem I sought help for, I brought up a second and entirely unplanned issue. Dr. Duerden didn’t miss a beat, listened patiently and then inquired of other staff members if they had the capability of performing the special X-rays I needed. Lo and behold, they did, and I left my visit with a referral and script for a long-standing problem. I believe great care and service ( going the extra mile) are the hallmark of this practice and it’s doctors and staff. Kudos to Doctors Pinkos, MacLean and Duerden, and their terrific team for being an amazingly proficient and professional group of individuals!! I feel like I am in excellent hands!

Dr. Duerdon is a very caring and compassionate doctor. My mother broke a bone in her leg and a metal rod was inserted in her thigh. Dr. Duerdon did the surgery and it was successful. He explained everything that was going to be done and patiently answered the questions we had. My mother was 90 years old when this happened and she is now 92 years old. She talks about Dr. Duerdon often. He is a favorite doctor.

The wait was long but worth it. From sign thru x-rays the staff was pleasant. It wasn't long before Dr Duerden came into the room.

A visit to the ER left me with unanswered concerns and my diagnosis on discharge paperwork was very poor. I needed a second opinion and answers to my questions. Enter Dr. Duerdon for my second opinion. Dr. Duerdon listened to my concerns and questions and answered them each, seperately and fully while installing the highest level of confidence in his care. Very pleased with the processes at OrthoVA, the immediate follow-up care, and a plan moving forward for future care if needed. Thank you Dr. Duerdon.

Dr. Deurden provided excellent treatment for my broken fibula which included surgical repair. He was both professional and friendly and took time to answer any and all questions. Best of all, I had a great treatment outcome. In addition, his assistant, Morgan, was readily available to follow up on any questions I had between visits. They were both encouraging during treatment and recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Deurden.

Disappointed experience with Dr. Duerden! Documentation will not be reviewed, questions will not be answered, visit will be rushed, and you will leave empty handed!

Very informative and a very good experience

I am a grandfather of a dedicated high level high school soccer player. Dr. Deurden’s approach is thorough. From the x-ray to the physical exam to the patient interview, he demonstrates his extensive experience in ankle and foot treatment for athletes. I was so impressed that I am now under his care for a Jones fracture of the foot. I have recommended him to the parents of other Beach FC players.

I was a walk in and waited 3 hours which was well worth the wait. Dr. Duerden was outstanding, along with Morgan. From the start they listened to my questions. concerns did what was best for my care. Felt like I've known them for years, what a great medical experience, even the receptionist that checked me in so kind and caring. Best in the Beach!!!
