My hematologist and also my wife’s cancer doctor. Very happy with him.

Dr. Delmonte has been my oncologist for almost 10 years. He really listens and is concerned with me as a whole person; the emotional fall out from learning I had advanced cancer was considerable. One of the most personable, emotionally intelligent physicians I have ever met. He also has a great sense of humor, which really impressed my children. He takes time to explain things in detail so that I feel I have a handle on my health. I would recommend him to anyone seeking cancer treatment.

Dr. Delmonte is very arrogant and has no compassion at all. Even though I was referred to him by several other Dr.s, he claimed to not have my records, semmed irritated that I was there and sent me home without any testing. Said he would get my records and I would be called for a follow up visit. That was 2 months ago!

Dr. Delmonte is extraordinarily knowledgeable, a graduate of MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas. He is personable and compassionate. I am happy to entrust my care to him, and I would send family members and friends to Dr. Delmonte. I am happy we have Dr. Delmonte and his colleagues caring for patients in my community.

I made a two hour round trip to his office for the initial visit and bloodwork, and then I was told the results were questionable because of a drug I was on [that he knew about prior to the visit]. Later, needing to repeat the bloodwork I was told 5 weeks afterwards by his nurse that there were "no flags and he had signed off on it". And yet he then he required another conversation that he wanted to do in person [there's a pandemic and I had to insist on a local blood draw and telehealth visit] for him to tell me the same thing I already knew.

My wife has been treated by Dr. DelMonte and his nursing staff and my daughter will be beginning treatment. We have found the office and nursing staff to be helpful and for appointments to be on time. Dr. DelMonte is thoughtful and caring and has taken his time to explain things to my wife and daughter in detail in terms that can be well understood,

Always get there to hurry up and wait. Nursing staff and The Nurse Practioner are good. He as a doctor never answers the questions we ask. Then changes the things that we agreed upon at the drop of a hat. He just comes over as untrustworthy.

When you first get that shocking diagnosis of the big "C" you are pretty much paralyzed. That was me. I cried hysterically-alone- not being able to have a rational thought process. Unfortunately, that is pretty much how our brains work - to protect us - to shut down our thought process and ultimately causes us to panic. Hence. I met Dr. Delmonte and at first sight - his smile, his warm hand shake, compassionate demeanor put me at ease immediately. I knew I was in the right hands.

The office staff is awful. You would hope that at an MDs Office that sees cancer patients would be sensitive, compassionate, patient, and kind. Not so at this office. I have never come across such mean, grumpy and inpatient office staff before. As if dealing with a new diagnosis of cancer wasn’t difficult enough, my family had to be bullied by nurses and office personnel. Shame on you for treating us so terribly.
