Dr. John Coreles, MD is an excellent specialist in the field of gastroenterology. He is empathetic toward his patients. He is extremely proficient with procedures. Good clinical judgement is utilized when evaluating his patient. He takes time to listen to their concerns, and explains issues extremely well to his patients. In this changing world of medicine, we need more doctors of his caliber.

Dr. Corless was rude and curt. He was apparently on a timer because he said, "they are pissed off at me because I'm taking too long". And he had only been with me for about 5 minutes. I feel like Dr. Corless gave me a 'bums' rush. Will not accept another appointment with him.

He did not listen, he did not care, and he did not think. After all was done he told us to go to Musc.

I don't know why Healthgrades won't publish my last review, but here goes: I wouldn't go back to Dr. Corless if he was the last doctor on the planet. He was dismissive, rude, made racist comments (I'm white and apparently he thought it was okay to make the racist comments) and was overall cold with bad bedside manner. I regret not walking out of his office at the first rude comment, but I was in shock. The office staff is great, but this guy needs to retire post-haste!

It is painfully obvious that this doctor needs to retire. He was an hour late for my appt, took 2 personal calls during my appt and then was very rude and made inappropriate jokes during my visit. I have since switched to a clearly better trained doctor within the practice. The staff and office are clean and professional. I wouldn't see Dr. Coreless again if he were the last doctor in the world.

I found him to be condescending and very unwilling to listen to my symptoms and try to help me. He didn't want me to ask questions about my diagnosis and how I can cope and adjust my diet. I found him to be very curt and rude.
