I have seen quite a few physicians who handle orthopedic issues and Dr. Cooney remains the most knowledgeable and compassionate. During visits he spends as much time as is necessary to respectfully clarify your concerns. Dr. Cooney is never condescending or dismissive of your issues. I've been seeing him for 10 years because I have yet to come across another similar specialist of his caliber, understanding, and empathy.

Dr. Cooney always takes as much time as needed to inform you of your situation, condition and gives you options for care. He is very patient and explains the medical jargon so we can understand what's going on. He and his PA's are extremely responsible and conservative with Pain Medication and if you have to have a procedure like a back injection there is no one more gentle. I usually do not even need sedation! Thanks Dr. Cooney for helping me charge on with my life!
