Dr. John Coiner II, DO

I prefer Dr Coiner more than anyone else! He delivered my daughter via C-section in 2020 and made sure that all of my questions and concerns were noted, and answered! He also makes things easily understandable and makes sure that I am comfortable in his care. By far the BEST healthcare provider I have encountered. I will continue to choose him as my provider!

Dr coiner is absolutely one of the best health care providers I’ve ever had. I had been trying to conceive for years I ran into him at the office during rotation and it was the best experience he did not criticize me about my weight age or the fact I already have children he was very passionate and his patience is out of this world he really made me feel like for once someone cared about my desires and wanted to help me. Very smart individual and I love how for sure he is. He is a great listener and I recommend him for all women who are trying to conceive or needs a good understanding doctor and again he is the absolute best provider. I believe if he and Dr Boswell ever worked together in one facility women would get the proper care they need they are the absolute best along with the nurse Brandy good team I’m praying they can join forces one day

I was referred to Dr. Coiner for an enlarged uterus and large fibroids. I had alot of concerns and I was terrified of the thought of having surgery. Dr. Coiner told me at my first appointment that’s what would need to happen to feel better. I was terrified and expressed all my concerns and worries and he was more than just a doctor/surgeon he was being a caring human being. On the day of my surgery he came to see me before I went back and talked to me and then after my surgery he came that evening to see me in the hospital. I had some concerns a few days after surgery and he talked to my husband after hours to calm me down. I have never met a more genuine caring person that just wasn’t in their field for the paycheck or to cut on you, he genuinely cares and that to me separates him from most. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Coiner just recently walked me through one of the hardest experiences of my life. I can’t help by think God sent him specifically for this to make it as comforting and easy possible. Not only is he a phenomenal doctor in his level of expertise but he called me when i was worrying about how to handle my miscarriage and talked me through it. He also took the time to call and check on me after surgery to make sure I was doing ok. I will never be able to thank him enough for making this experience the least painful as possible. Even in the anxiety I feel moving forward I know I will be in good hands every step of the way. He is absolutely wonderful!

I had a hysterectomy and had a few issues about 3 weeks after the surgery. My husband and I were totally confused about what to do and it just so happened that it was a weekend. When we called Greenville OBGYN and left a message, Dr. Coiner called us back within 5 minutes and talked to us about what was going on and our options for going to the emergency room. We ended up calling him 3 times as we gauged the severity of the symptoms and every time he responded, patiently, in no rush, providing information and assurance. I was immediately impressed. I believe it is because of him that I was able to make the best decision, getting the care that I needed in a timely fashion.

He was very friendly and explained everything well to me. He fixed my UTI and yeast infection and I really felt comfortable with him.

Very knowledgeable on topics that were discussed during the visit. Two thumbs up in my book

Great doctor was helpful in my first trimester when I was suffering from nausea and went over everything that I could take to help.

Dr. Coiner completed my c-section last July and I met him the morning of but he put me right at ease. Everything went smoothly and he was great at my follow up appointments as well

Dr. Coiner helped with the delivery of my baby and was very kind and respectful. I would reccomend him to other patients.

If I could give him zero stars I would, he is new at the practice I have gone to since I was 16 yrs old, I am 35 now and after 7.5 yrs of trying everything from IUI and IVF to get pregnant I finally got pregnant with no help from Drs. At my 10 wk ultrasound he though let he saw something that concerned him for a trisomy, and basically talked to us about abortion and our options and after my husband said that’s not an option, he kept on talking about options and how severe these things could be. And when I asked about flying at 15 wks pregnant he said “well if it comes back abnormal and you decide to do away with the pregnancy, you will be all healed up by then, but if it’s normal then you can fly then too.” I was in too great of a shock to respond the way I should have, my husband and myself were absolutely sick when we left his office, and for no good reason, everything checked out fine! Thank goodness we know who to trust and it is definitely not this Dr., God is good!

Friendly and treated me, “as he would his family.” Dr. Coiner listened to my words of concern like no other doctor has done before.
