Very thorough Great Dr.
I was very impressed from day one. His staff got me in as soon as they could. being a new patient, that is unheard of in todays world. he assessed the situation had me go for scans and tests right away. when i had an issue with some medication he called my cardiologist on his cell phone while i was sitting there in the office in front of him. They discussed my issues and decided together what was the best way to proceed with my care. amazing!!! very thorough, not rushed out of the office ,sits there discusses your issues with you. if i could give 10 stars i would. and needless to say i am making progress in my care. thank you Dr. Chapman

No one answers the phone!!
I’ve been trying to reach their office for days. I have called multiple times at different times of working hours and get the same message; call back some other time everybody is busy. I’m busy too, and if I can’t reach my doctor within a reasonable amount of time by phone and, they offer no other means of communication, they do not take messages. They do not call back. I need to cancel my appointment that’s on November 18 November 12 at 3 PM. Someone needs to call me back and acknowledge that someone read this message. Terrence McCafferty.

EXCELLENT DR.
My Surgeon's team chose Dr. Chapman to be my Urologist for my surgery. We met him at his office a week before my surgery. My husband and I IMMEDIATELY felt comfortable with him. We were not rushed and all of our questions were answered. I found it quite comforting that he had a cross on his lab coat. I brought up religion to him. I was diagnosed with cancer that was a complete surprise to us. I had immediately decided to put my trust in God's will for me as I always have but this was a much BIGGER trial for me! I tried to use this experience as a way for me to be positive with all that I came in contact with. We prayed together during this office visit and again when we met just before surgery. I felt so positive after the 2 meetings with this Dr. and highly recommend him to anyone that needs a Urologist. My surgery was a COMPLETE Success! THANK YOU DR. CHAPMAN and may God continue to bless you and yours!!!!!

Best in the Business
I was referred to Dr. Chapman by my primary several years ago. He has proven to be a friendly and extremely competent professional. At 72, I've had many Dr's in my life. None have provided the degree of comfort and trust I have in Dr. Chapman.

Dr Chapman happened to come to the hospital to see a patient of his and a wonderful person asked him to look at my case file. I was really sick and had an unsuccessful, painful procedure done that afternoon. He was truly God sent (I don't believe in coincidences) He immediately took my case. Came in, explained everything to me and performed a different procedure, that proved to be challenging, but he was up for the challenge and succeeded! He was nothing short of AMAZING! He is a Dedicated, Educated and Compassionate Dr. He took excellent care of me and I am eternally grateful! DO NOT hesitate to see him. Your health will thank you for it!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Chapman. He took me as a patient when it was discovered I had bladder cancer. He shows compassion and understanding, and he explains things and gives you the opportunity to ask questions that he will answer. I feel very comfortable in his care, because I believe he cares about his patients. There have been times that I had to wait quite a long time for an office visit or a procedure, but I give the guy a break because he does take the time with his patients so they don't feel rushed. He's staff has always been efficient and Cordial to me. - Thumbs up! I Highly recommend him.

Sometimes you just know when someone genuinely cares about your well being. You know when they're more interested in helping instead of collecting a paycheck. Dr. Chapman spent roughly 45 minutes with me and he was very thorough. If you are looking for an experienced urologist that will make you feel completely comfortable than Dr. Chapman is a slam dunk! I can honestly say that I don't post reviews but my experience with Coastal Urology was excellent and they deserve to be commended.

Be careful of this Dr. He feels the need to ask ," Have you found Jesus." His coming to Jesus comments are the last thing anyone wants to hear as they lay in a hospital bed in pain from a size 11 kidney stone. Those comments are inappropriate. He then had to apologize after when he actually did research and homework. DO NOT EVER USE THIS DOCTOR.

I have been a patient for about 4 yrs. And I have not been into the office in about 3 yrs. I normally would see Dr Chapman and I think he is great.I also have never had a problem with office staff or Dr Chapman. I had a stone recently and they saw me immediately and scheduled me with Dr Fam another great doctor and a great addition to the group.

follow up on original review. While I still like dr. Chapman, I have been forced to look elsewhere. The lack of cooperation from his office after several calls, indicates to me that they have no interest in my issue. They have repeatedly refused to notify dr. Chapman of my concerns.

1.Dr. Chapman is good & I believe to be a good MD. 2. His office staff is AWFUL. RUDE. U tell them u sent them a fax they never get it. Even when there is confirmation that fax # is correct & you have confirmation copy. You have surgery & EXPECT to speak with MD, they tell you he is gone for day. REALLY, No communication with patients family? You have an issue, they say they sent over script to hospital, Hospital never got script. The results come back no one gives patient results! REALLY!

Dr. Chapman recommends procedure "A". Research suggest I consider procedure "B". Called to discuss but rudely advised that the doctor hasn't performed procedure "B" in over two yrs and if I wanted his input I should schedule an office visit. Next call for my records was met with equally rude warnings that another doctor's opinion may be useless (?), copies of records are not free, and by law, they have 30 days to provide. Waited the 30 days & found a practice that treats patients with civility.

I happen to be a retired medical doctor so I understand how important the patient-doctor relationship is. I told Dr. Chapman how lucky I felt to have found him! I moved 3 years ago and needed a new urologist so I randomly found him by looking on line. His reviews were good so I made an appointment. He is caring, smart and well respected in his field. I have had some significant urologic issues and am so glad that I found him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a urologic problem!

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Chapman's office. I searched for a urologist near me because my urologist of over 10 yrs. moved out of state. I called for an appointment and was told they needed my records. I was able to have my records faxed to them and several weeks later I received a call from a receptionists advising that their office would not be accepting me as a new patient ,there was nothing that Dr. Chapman could do for me. The Dr. should of taken the time to advise me himself.

Today called office @9:15 to confirm he would be on time for the appointment.... got answering machine saying the office was closed and office hours for today were 9 - noon. They later called me to say he was running late. First time they made this effort. I am finding new Dr
