Dr. John Chaffee, MD

Dr Chaffee had been my primary care doctor for a few years and I thought he was great. However since the pandemic he seems very unconcerned with my issues. My blood sugar and blood pressure are all over the place and he just smiles.

Dr Chaffee is a wonderful doctor is very patient and explains what would be helpful in treating my diabetes.

Dr. Chaffee reviewed my chart after I left his office and found something another Dr. couldn't figure out in several visits/years! I then was pleasantly surprised with a referral to a gastroenterologist. I was initially told I just had heart burn but Dr. Chaffee figured out my bile ducts are enlarged and I am now finally pursuing adequate treatment. Without him I could of gone on for several more years without an answer. He is an amazing Dr. that truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients!

For a first visit I was disappointed and was expecting more from his bedside manner and possibly any sense of apathy or caring of my issues and concerns. He was very dry. Did not take the time to even listen to my concerns or learn my history face to face. He only read the notes of my symptoms I had written down for him and then he dictated the whole appoint in his microphone. Less then a 60 sec physical exam as well. I understand md's can be rushed but sadly he could do much better. Let down.

Very caring. Thoroughly explains the results of tests and the outcomes of proper habits and diet. My health has improved significantly since he became my primary care physician.
