Dr. Burke has a history of being rude and has terrible bedside manners. He obviously does not care about patients. He works at Brookwood and Grandview. DO NOT SEE HIM!

Rude condescending, argumentative, yelled over me the entire time, belittled me and what was already being done to treat my condition. An absolutley horrid, horrid person with a complete lack of social skills.

Dr. Burke was the physician that I saw at Brookwood ER today. This was my first time as a patient here and I was very impressed. Smooth & friendly. The Dr was very professional, kind, and treated my injury immediately. I have a break in one of the tiniest human bones but it is oh so painful. He managed my high anxiety level like a champ! Then came back in my room after the nurse for any Questions I may have and provided all I needed to know for home care. Thank you all very much! (The total time was over 45 mins obviously bc its an emergency room. But still faster than any other I’ve been to)

Dr.Burke was rude and belittling. He spoke over me the entire time. Then said i wouldnt give a 5yr.old pain medicine for flu and strep What makes you so special? I got dressed and left immediately

Came in on November 19, 2018. Never even saw the man. Didn't ask my symptoms, could care less what I was feeling and what was going on. I will be filing a dispute to pay with my insurance and a formal complaint with Brookwood Freestanding Emergency Department.

Dr. Burke treated my husband in the ED at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. He was rude and condescending in his communications with us, and I don't think that he took appropriate measures to determine what was truly going on with my husband. I have already filed a grievance with the hospital, but I plan to file a complaint with CMS for the manner in which Dr. Burke "cared" for us. He is awful, and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
