Toxic staff members have priority over patients
I can't comment on this doctors medical capabilities because we weren't able to get that far due to a toxic environment with their office manager. Very confrontational and classic garbage. I can say that if this doctor performs surgery in the same manner he manages his staff, he won't be around much longer. Sadly, He ignores patients while condoning staff improprieties.

Expert care.
In March 2023, I was referred to Dr Boyd by Hendersonville Emergency Room with a rare bone disease called Charcot Foot. At my first visit with Dr Boyd, he immediately recognized the condition that I had. The ER was unsure what was going on, but fortunately Dr. Boyd happened to be an expert on this condition. He performed several surgeries for me, and although it was about a 4-month healing process, his attentiveness and dedication eventually led me to have a normal life despite this degenerativebone condition that I have. I feel like if it weren't for Dr Boyd's experience and intellect, not to mention his compassion and bedside manner, that I may have ended up losing my leg. I am very thankful the ER doctor referred me to Dr Boyd. I can't say enough about his staff, I've never had a negative experience there, even in the early days when I was unsure what was going on and whether I was going to get to keep my leg or not. They are second to none!

Disappointing appointment
80 year old patient. He didn’t want to trim my toe nails. Then only cut one. Left it jagged. He doesn’t own a nail file! Seemed put out by my even being there. I’ll find someone else.

Just, no.
I would leave a 0-star review if I could. Very unprofessional last time I went, throwing a fit because I told him I can't afford to pay for more things such as new X Rays, another foot brace that doesn't help AT ALL for $200+, and he didn't even know what was wrong with my foot after claiming it was plantar fasciitis and said the very painful and expensive shot in my heel would take away '90% of the pain' literally where? If anything, my foot is worse off after going here multiple times and going broke coming here. He was also supposed to write me a detailed doctors note so I could switch to a part time position at my job because I could barely walk and I had to just quit my job because he only wrote a short sentence after I made him mad saying I couldn't afford extra treatments, and this cost me my job so thanks for that!!! I will NEVER come back here again; they can leech off some other poor soul.

He asked questions and listened well. He answered each of my questions to my great satisfaction. He did not recommend any treatment that was not indicated. His explanations were very clear. And he was pleasant to interact with.

I seen my PCPs CNP for toe pain due to my diabetic neuropathy, and was referred to OHIO FOOT AND ANKLE CENTER. They canceled my first appointment. So I was off work for 11 days. Went to my next appointment DOCTOR BOYD shaved my toe and gave me a pad for between them. We discussed medication for the pain. He was told during the visit that PCP practice doesn’t prescribe pain medication. 6 hours after my appointment I called to see if my Rx was called in, they said that Dr Boyd said that my PCP need to prescribe it. It is now Friday at 4pm and I have to work Monday, going on 14 days of being in pain. 8/10 when I work 14+ hour on my feet. I don’t think that is good practice

I was nervous to go back to Ohio Foot & Ankle being that I would be seeing a new doctor this time. However, when I got there Dr.Boyd made me feel very comfortable and he listened to my concerns and explained exactly what I needed to have done! Also informed me I would need surgery and he has privileges at the local hospital which is a BIG plus!
