Dr. John Boskind, MD

Dr. Boskind was very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve been sick for 3 months and treated for diverticulitis. In the last 7 months, I’ve been treated for 7 different infections which is not normal for me! I am extremely appreciative that he has ordered CT scans to help resolve these issues since my PCP has done nothing but prescribe drugs.

Dr. Boskind is professional and very thorough. Listened intently, answered all my questions and put me at ease even facing surgery. Recommend Highly.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Boskind. I was admitted to Summit hospital with excruciating pain from a bad gallbladder. I was scheduled for gallbladder surgery 2 days later as an outpatient surgery by Dr Fruin ( which is great also ). Dr Boskind was on call and came in on a Sunday to do the emergency surgery and was fantastic. He took the time to ease my fears and explain what to expect. The surgery went well and I would trust him 100% in the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart doc.

After waiting an hour to be seen past my scheduled appointment time, it was pretty disappointing to talk to Dr. Boskind. He hadn't even taken the time to look at my CT scan to review prior to my appointment, and it seemed a bit careless for him to make a statement that I have a cyst versus a potentially cancerous tumor when the CT scan recommended a biopsy due to the enhancing pattern of a rapidly growing mass. When I asked if it could be a solid mass tumor versus a cyst, he said agreed it could be, but he felt it would be unlikely due to the location. I'm sorry, but that is unacceptable. He spent a few brief minutes telling me that I could wait to see if it worsens or have surgery which he certainly convinced me that I would not want him to do. I was left feeling like he just wanted to make a quick buck and get me out of the office. I won't be back.

I had a skin nodule I needed removed. He could not have been more dismissive. Indicated if it changed shape or size then come back. It already had and I was referred by another doctor. He said I can't help you walked out and charged $351 for less than three minutes.

All staff for Dr Boskind was very friendly and helpful. All my questions were answered by Rachel and Dr. Boskind.
