Excellent Physician!
Dr. Bond is a wonderful doctor who cares about his patients. He manages my healthcare in a holistic approach. I would recommend him highly. Getting to see him for an appointment can be a bit tiresome, but that isn't his fault!

Is not “present” at the visit.
Mumbles through the visit. Rambles about things not pertinent. Does not hear what you say as evident in visit notes. Visit notes incomplete. Does not reply to MyChart messages even when a medical assistant asks him to. -Long trip to see him from where I live and hardly worth it.

No Thanks
Doctor more interested in getting things in his computer than listening to me. Also shared personal info that I gave him after he left me with some woman in another office. Not cool. What about HIPPA??

Horrible Experience
My appointment with Dr. John Bond could not have been worse. He didn’t introduce himself, barely made eye contact, burped loudly in the middle of one of his sentences and overall didn’t seem to care. I made the appt to establish care and receive a wellness exam. He barely examined me and was in the room with me for less than 4 minutes. The cost of the appt was $355…..I was and still am astounded at the lack of care and concern as well as the shocking price of such horrible experience. The front desk staff at Lovelace were nice and helpful but the medical care was extremely disappointing.

Very knowledgeable and skilled doctor.
Dr. Bond is easy to talk to, listens well, and gave a sensible diagnosis and remedy for my issue. He is pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable about issues for my age group.

Kind of impersonal
Although Dr. Bond, I thought, mostly listens to my needs, he often doesn't do so very well, and his staff sometimes skips over some things when I have used the Lovelace portal. He seems to be always too busy to slow down and consider what I'm saying and instead goes on auto-pilot. For example, I brought my records and lab tests over from my previous Family Medicine specialist, yet I could tell that he never read them. He simply ordered new tests without looking at the recent ones from my previous doc.

Quality Dr
I realized after my visit that it isn't quantity but quality time that is important. Over the last few years this dr. has taken me to the point where my blood tests now have NO flags. (I'm 77) And, my most recent visit makes me think Dr. Bond has a sixth sense. I wanted to say I was feeling "off"and had a recurring slight headache and difficulty focusing; but didn't. Dr. Bond noticed my blood pressure was high and after our visit asked his nurse to take another reading; still high. He asked me to take readings at home for several days (it was Friday) and return the following week to have his nurse check me again and bring my BP machine with me to calibrate. I realized when I left it's my BP making me feel "off" and Dr. Bond noticed and is dealing with it. Bam. So, yes, a very good dr.

Very timely; accessible by message through the Lovelace MyChart and responds quickly. Makes decisions quickly. Good listener! Could be a little more forthcoming with medications.

I made an appointment, 3 weeks before I would run out of my medications, specifically to renew my prescriptions for the coming 12 months. In order to get them filled, I had to contact the staff myself 5 days prior to my last pill. I'm annoyed that I had to do the doctor's job. During the appointment, he basically made small talk, and fiddled on his laptop.
