Great service by Dr Bollins and EBCH surgical staff. My alternatives were being transported to Duluth. So very convenient and excellent service. Five Stars!

The efficiency and relaxing attitude of everyone involved. My apprehension about the surgery was laid to rest prior to the procedure. The skill of Dr. Bollins is evident by the minimal recovery time afterwards. The nurses in operation are a fantastic "pit crew" as well. I am thankful to all of you.

I went in to Dr. Bollins for a hernia consult and found him to be very personable, confident, and easy to understand. He explained my upcoming surgical procedure calmly and without rushing. He explained his experience level when I asked and then described how the robot works in depth. Then, he handed me his card with his direct phone number and told me to call with any questions. After a stellar performance by the Ely Bloomenson hospital surgical staff along with Dr. Bollin's expertise, my first-ever surgery resulted in a very-minimal-pain/healing post surgery. The next day the pleasant surgical nurse called in the morning and Dr. Bollins called in the afternoon to see how I was doing. I don't generally require a lot of handholding, but their service was prompt & impeccable. Plus, I got great service right in Ely and avoided 250 miles of total traveling to Duluth. While hoping I never need any more surgery, I wouldn't hesitate to visit Dr. Bollins in Ely, again. Top-notch!

From first meeting for a consult about having colon surgery, through surgery and beyond, Dr Bollins was kind, respectful, and happy to answer questions. The robotic surgery was explained clearly. I was introduced to the robot and the many staff it takes to do such a surgery. Everyone was happy and concerned for my well being. He was accessible and showed up bedside and at clinic appointments ready to listen and in good spirits.

Patty Foster Sterle on Thursday I recently went to Advanced Surgical Associates for robotic surgery to repair an incisional hernia. From the first visit to the last it was a exceptional experience. Dr. Bollins and the entire staff are just the nicest people. We are lucky to have them. Dr Bollins took his time to explain exactly what he was going to do and answer any questions that I had. When I did have a question after surgery I called the number I was given and he actually answered the phone himself (this never happens). I highly recommend Advanced Surgical Associates to anyone who might have surgical needs. I will definitely see Dr. Bollins again if I find I need surgery in the future. I felt that he not only wanted to get to know me as a patient but as a person as well and that's a good feeling when you are putting your trust in someone.

I highly recommend Advanced Surgical Associates for your surgical needs. Everyone from the reception, nurse, and Dr. Bollins are friendly, caring and professional. They were able to do surgery at different centers and hospitals to fit my needs and situation. Dr. Bollins took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He personally called me with pathology results and patiently explained all of my options. I will definitely go back to Advanced Surgical Associates if the need arises.

Dr. Bollins is my family's go-to for any general surgery concerns. He has always explained what was to expect, what recovery would look like, and he answered all of our questions. His associate Ann is amazing, she has always greeted us with a smile, she helped us navigate the health insurance world. This team rocks!!

I recently had emergency surgery by Dr Bollins for small bowel resection. He also had done 2 different surgeries on my grown daughter, that I was very impressed with. I truly believe he saved my life.

Dr. Bollins performed my umbilical heria surgery and it was a complete succes. Dr. Bollins has taken great care of me and my concerns in all aftercare appointments. He gave me his direct line incase I need to get a hold of him with any concerns. He's now my go to general surgeon, although hopefully I never need it again.

Argumentive. Doesn't listen. Berates. Horrible bedside manner. Answers questions only with snide remarks. Caught him in 2 lies. Gave me an unecessary surgery. Waste of time.
