Doctor Barker is an excellent spine surgeon, in 2018 he repaired my 2nd broken neck. At the time of surgery I was 62 yrs old, I am 65 now and completely healed. The injury was unsurvivable without surgery. Doctor Barker saved my life, I do recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. Thank you Doctor Barker.

Dr. Barker listened well, was patient, explained the what/why of things really well so that I could understand. I had a successful surgery with rods/screws & fusion from T11 to my tailbone. The incision was perfectly straight down my back. After surgery, he still was very personable, caring, had concern, patience, treated me well, & had great patient interaction. After visiting with him, I was always left feeling confident & calm about my situation, surgery & progress.

If I could give Dr. Barker a 10+ it would be well deserved. I was referred to Dr. Barker after 2 very bad neck and back spine surgery experiences from an out of state spine surgery center. He is very attentive in listening to my issues and concerns, and his knowledge and experience is what makes me feel so confident and trusting in his medical services for my spine needs. Thank You Dr. Barker. Also, his staff at the Aurora office are amazing people to deal with. Thank you to all of you as well

I had a back surgery (L4,L5 ) which Dr. Barker performed on my back. when I visited him the first time, I couldn't even stand on my feet because of my pain. I was miserable. My surgery went great. after a week all my pain went away and I am walking. Dr. Barker not only is a competent surgeon, he is also humble and a great person. I am so proud to have such a wonderful Dr. in our community. My hat off you John !! Thank You and appreciate my surgery well done. Mathew Kargarzadeh

I was in a car accident in October that resulted in two herniated discs and severe stenosis of my spinal cord in my cervical spine. Dr. Barker diagnosed and treated my injury with honesty and compassion. He answered every one of my questions and offered a second opinion. I felt prepared and taken care of for the biggest surgery of my life. Everything went exactly as he said it would. A month later the pain in my neck is decreasing and my scar fades each day. Very professional and great doctor!
