Dr Atwater has operated on me three times..All totally successful Made a 100% back to normal..went from being incapacitated to doing everything including golf...He is fully vested in all patients and cares deeply his bedside manner makes you feel as though you are his only patient

As a Retired medical professional I am beyond appalled at the care this office staff has given to my daughter. A patient that comes in with severe back pain is to have an MRI and the patient has had prior back surgery elsewhere years ago now has foot drop. severe back pain not relieved by laying g down and worse with sitting . Can't drive now and wears a tens unit because of severe spasm. Sciatica pain and loosing bladder control. Office staff takes 10 days to submit a request to insurance and does not mark the request urgent then dies no follow up until 2 weeks later after the patient calls them. Then told it is under medical review All the while can't sleep can't drive and loosing bladder control. Patient calls insurance company and tells ins Co. Symptoms. The insurance company tells patient to call Dr Atwater to tell them to submit it again as urgent. The office resubmitted and gets an approval but doesn't call the patient to schedule MRI. Patient calls Dr Atwater to tell them that insurance has approved request and and they notilontly say. Oh yeah they approved it a few days ago. So why didn't they schedule with the patient asap. The office staff are definately not trained properly for an urgent situation. And poor telephone etiquette saying oh yeah its been here for days Is the doctor understaffed with professional medically trained orthopedic staff. Now they want to put of scheduling MRI for another month. Will this patient in their 40's be in diapers Then you have to pay for your MRI discount and a dollar a page for records. Step up care Dr. ATWATER. VERY POOR TREATMENT

Established patient, waited over 90 minutes to be seen while two new patients seen first. Results of EMG and Nerve Conduction Series not reviewed. Explained pain had changed from right leg to left. Dr. Atwater said he could do spinal injections Friday (this was Tuesday afternoon at 5:pm) once again explained cardiologists required me to be off Eliquis 4 days prior to injection. Nurse said it would be enough time, I asked how she counted 4 days from 5:00pm Tuesday to 9:00am Friday, I counted a span of only 2 days. Dr. Atwater said he could do injection next Wed. , and left the room. Nurse then informed me Dr. Atwater didn't do injections on Weds., he would do injections again on a Friday two weeks later. Initially I had been referred to Dr. Atwater by friends who had good experiences with Dr. Atwater. My experience has been very poor!
