Total Knee replacement
I asked a general surgeon that lives by me, 'who would you recommend for knee surgery'? He answered without hesitation, 'Dr Andary'. I thought that was high praise and so I made an appointment. Discovered my meniscus was completely shredded and I would need total knee replacement. I chose the computer aided surgery and I have been very pleased with the results. I just passed my 1 year date. There is very little pain or stiffness. I have 95% of my flexibility. I can do all the things I want to do with little to no pain at all. The scar is even hardly noticeable. I would recommend Dr Andary and his staff to anyone.

Great Doctor
Tore bicep tendon rotator cuff 20 years ago in the military. Recovery was allot better then to be expected. Pain was little to none off pain meds within 3 days but took over the counter just to be safe. Full range of motion within 3 months. Feels great would highly suggest his services to others. Not allot of small talk just to the point and best options for you.

Torn ACL
I was in a motorcycle accident that completely tore my ACL and fractured my tibual plateau. Dr. Andary surgically repaired my knee. After 9 years, 37 mountains, 23 slot canyons and numerous hikes, my knee is doing amazingly well. If it hadn’t been for Dr Andary, I probably would have needed a knee replacement by now.

Couldn't be better!
Several years ago I tore a rotator cuff tendon in my right shoulder. Doctor Andary suggested physical therapy might induce the tear to heal. Miraculously it did.Fast forward to early 2022, stupid me tore a rotator cuff tendon and biceps tendon in my right shoulder. This time surgery was required. While medications were required, the procedure was painless. The degree and rate at which I recovered my range of motion amazed doctors and physical therapists. Given this positive outcome and the courteous helpful staff, I highly recommend Doctor Andary and the Shoulder & Knee Center.Chuck M

NO HELP HERE!
I have been experiencing unbearable pain in my left knee and down the leg both front and back. Before seeking help from Andary i had an x-ray done showing some arthritus. An MRI was done next.Although I had set the appointment with the doctor they had the PA meet with me instead. The MRI which resulted me seeing them showed 2 tears in the meniscus and a partial ACL tear. They ran other x-rays. It showed arthritus on the left side of the knee. The PA told me they would NOT repair the tears as it would not relieve the pain. Said a total knee replacement was the only solution and they would NOT do that either. He said I was a bad risk. I asked why. The answer was "YOU ARE 74!!!' he explained I wiuld be at risk for infections and poor healing. I finally saw Andary who gave me a cortozone shot and refered me to a pain clinic. 74 is not ancient and I am going to see a different doctr who may actually be interested in helping.

Excellent experience.
Dr. Andary and his staff were excellent from start to finish. I tore my bicep loose at the elbow and had to have it re-attached. From the first visit we were so pleased with their efficiency. We never waited in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes on any visit. Their communication was excellent on what to expect and what the surgery and recovery would be like. The approachability of doctor Andary and the entire staff was unbelievable. The day of the surgery, my wife commented on how great the entire staff was on every level. Surgery went great, recovery as well. Highly, highly recommend Dr. Andary!

Broken elbow repair
I broke my arm and Dr. Andary told me it was debatable whether we should do surgery to fix it. He was very honest and realistic about the risks and benefits for me to expect either way. I’m very happy I decided to get surgery because as far as I can tell I think he did a perfect surgery. His staff was very kind and competent in doing their part as well. I was also impressed by the signed decor he has from professional athletes who agreed to give him mementos to display in his office. I figured if he is good enough at surgery to fix Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, then he is definitely good enough for me. Highly recommend!

I had 2 surgeries within 2 months (carpel tunnel and a complicated three-part shoulder repair). Everyone I asked about orthopedic doctors, recommended Dr. John Andary--even my "sports medicine" doctor had both shoulders repaired by Dr. Andary. Dr. Andary has a great staff that took excellent care of me, making me feel important as a patient. My wait time to see the doctor was never more than a couple minutes. I was very impressed with not only Dr. Andary's skill as a surgeon, but the time he took with me prior to surgery, thoroughly explaining all options and what to expect in my recovery. Following surgery, he spent an extra amount of time with my spouse, explaining the details of my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. John Andary.

Dr. Andary explained all of my options. He didn’t suggest surgery first. He did surgery when the other options failed. The post-surgery care has been excellent. He has watched my progress closely and took time to answer all of my questions.

Dr. Andary did a meniscus root repair on my knee 5 years ago and it is doing great. He took plenty of time with me to explain all my options and the procedures. His follow up care was exceptional. I had surgery on my other knee a year earlier from a different surgeon and was not real happy with the results or my level of care. I highly recommend Dr. Andary.

I went to Dr. Andary because my orthopedic Doctor has retired. When Dr. Andary finally met with me it was literally a five minute exam as a first time patient with a 45 minute wait! I tried to mention medical history that I thought may be contributing to my knee problem and he was in such a rush to be done with me that he got up to open the door while I was trying to explain my issues. He said he would request a gel injection with my insurance and I would hear something in no more than two week
