Screwed me up for life
If I could give him 0 stars I would. I went to him for a gastric bypass revision and he literally butchered me. I was told by another surgeon after I collapsed that my insides were "frankensteined" together. 15 surgeries later and I'm left with no digestive system and my life is ruined. No lawyer would even touch him because he's so "well respected". I wish him nothing but karma

Complications from my revision were horrible. Another surgeon had to fix what had been done. I was in and out of hospital for almost a year.

Dr. Alexander fixed by bariatric surgery AND did my abdominal surgery after. He took great care of me even when I had a minor complication. I highly recommend him for people with complex cases or those that need revisions! I’m extremely pleased with my new body!!!

I was told ahead of time that he loses track of time. He spends lots of time with his patients so you will wait but worth waiting for

I am alive right now because of doctor Alexander I was very disappointed at first because I had known him for so long and I felt I was put on a back burner but in the end he saved my life and he stuck it out with me I wouldn't recommend any other bariatric surgeon out there. I do recommend if you need prompt service you need to keep on on a daily call Fest but it's just because he cares so much and spend so much time with his patients but sometimes he lose his track

Right now I wouldn't recommend Dr A, a month ago I would have given him a 10 out of 5. I was hurt in Dec 2018 causing me to need a revision and I would not settle for anyone but Dr A, but I had to wait till I could see him on April 1 2019 I aspirated and ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, The hospital recommended I see him right away. I saw him and he told me we had to do an endoscopy first, I had to wait till May15th for my insurance to take effect and to this day I call begging an am put off. I know the Dr Alexander that I knew would never have done this to me! I live on protien drinks so that something will stay down. I told Ann that I am afraid that I will end up chocking to death in my sleep, No One CARES! Dr Alexander I pray you read your reviews and at least refer me to a surgeon

He is an amazing doctor who really cares for his patients. He is great with my daughter who is almost 15 and who has prader willi.... With PWS comes morbid obesity He was the only doctor willing to help her because of her age and will be thankful everyday for him and his help. Appointments and all the waiting takes forever. Really, too long but it my daughter's case it is well worth the wait

I had weight loss surgery in the past, lost weight, and regained. Dr. A. took the time to sit down with me and really talk. He was not critical of me or my diet, he didn't accuse me of being non compliant, he seemed to understand that my food choices were based on what would go down. Dr. Alexander actually drew-out-on-a-whiteboard- possible problems with my prior surgery; and what he could do to correct them. I had a revision without complications and have lost weight and am healthy.

Worse office professionals. They tell you one thing and when the bills start rolling in its something different. They keep asking for more money I'm now looking at filing bankruptcy becauS what started at $5000 turned into over $10000 out of pocket!!! Beware

One pissed of patient in Allen, TX – Apr 26, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Alexander?
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PHYSICIAN . He canceled surgery 10 hours before and demanded more money to complete service, even though we had contract. I am still devastated. I did everything asked of me. Even spoke him 5 hours earlier. I believed this man to be a good person, as well as, surgeon. Now I must start over. Beware, when you are looking for compassion and care.
