He's thorough, responsive and explains things well. He fixed my cataracts -- I'm happy with the results.

Dr. Alder, staff and office
I've been seeing Dr. Alder for 10 years. He and staff are professional and caring. They make me feel like I am important to them. I like that when I speak, they listen closely, whether it is personal or clinical. I never feel rushed. Dr. Alder and his staff are knowledgeable. I feel confident that I am getting great care. I initially went to see Dr. Alder for a long-term eye problem. He got the problem under control quickly and has provided excellent care. I also had cataracts removed. I had no problems and really enjoy being able to see without glasses or contacts again.

I have not had eye issues before until 2 weeks ago I started having double vision. I called this morning to see if Dr. Alder's office could get me right in. (They were booked out a month) But the receptionist said just a minute. Then she came back on and said if you can come right now, we will work you in. When I arrived, I didn't have to wait long. They performed several eye tests. When Dr Alder met with me he was courteous, thorough in his testing and checkup, and was able to immediately remove the concern for a stroke. I was able to leave with a prescription for corrective lenses. I was very impressed with Dr Alder and his staff. I highly recommend him.

I was having problems with my vision being blurry. This came about very sudden. I was sure I would need something like coke bottom glasses. Imagine my surprise when I found out I had cataracts!! From the appointment through two surgeries, which were a breeze, dr. Alder and his entire staff were professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable in every question and concern I had. Both trips to the outpatient were easy, fast and I was home enjoying my day. I would recommend Dr. Alder anytime

I had cataract surgery by Dr. Alder, and it was a excellent experience, which I really appreciated because I was quite nervous about being awake while my eye was being operated on. My eyes are critical to all that I do, professionally and for enjoyment, so I desperately needed this to go well. And it went exceedingly well. Dr. Alder is thorough, gentle, and efficient. I would highly recommend him.

Very high. I have already recommended him to friends. He is an extremely capable doctor and is very caring. I was very anxious about having cataract surgery & he was very calming both before, during and after the procedure. I highly recommend him as an ophthalmologist.

My experience with Dr. Alder and his office staff was excellent in every way. I had cataract surgery on both eyes. Everything went very well. Dr. Alder's information about how the surgery would proceed was excellent. He very adequately answered all of my questions including the exact cost. I very much enjoyed his very personable demeanor as well of the professionalism of him and his staff. My office wait time has never been longer than 3 or 4 minutes.
