I've been seeing Dr. Almeida for over 15 years. He's great. He's not warm and cuddly, but I don't need that in a doctor. I need one who tells me I've gotten fat, which I have, and that I need to lose weight and helps me do it. If I email him, he responds within 24 hours. Don't know what all the whining is about.

I have been seeing Dr. Almeida for years and I have no issues at all. I have never had an issue with his attitude as others have stated above. He has always taken care of me. He does get on to me about my weight and sugars but I expect that.

Worst Doctor I have ever seen. Very arrogant and dismissive. I had pain in my abdomen & high blood pressure. His only concern-my ER visits. After see other patients he came and told me I needed to go to the ER. Yes, the same day that he was suspicious because I went to the ER twice in 1 month. End diagnosis- my temperature peaked at 108! I had an infection. He NEVER CHECKED BLOOD OR URINE. A simple test he was too arrogant to order because he had his mind set that there was nothing wrong.

Dr. Almeida was extremely rude. He did not introduce himself to me on my first visit. When asking for another option for a medication I was on he asked, "What do you want me to do?". He kept going on and on about my weight gain even after I explained that medication caused the weight gain (a medication that he had never heard of apparently). His bedside manner is just awful

Not recommended at all! Worst doctor I have ever experienced! He is not very friendly and doesn't seemed concerned about any of the issues that I came to see him for. He forgot about several things we talked about and just wasn't very pro active concerning health issues! I felt like just another body being pushed along in the line.

Inconsistent advice, requested 4 visits per year as standard (insurance company questioned this), spoke poorly about other area physicians, frequently referred to items in the news concerning medications and treatment of celebrities as his reasoning for drastically changing our family's treatments, dismissive of our health concerns.
