Horrendous Office and Experience
Completely incompetent and unconcerned admin group. Prescription refills take over a WEEK after requesting. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone and if you want a prescription transferred because your pharmacy is out of stock - forget it! You'll go weeks without your meds or being able to schedule with your provider - they do not take questions or return phone calls in between scheduled visits. Save your sanity and avoid this place.

Going elsewhere
The office has the rudest front office staff that I have ever experienced…Millenniums no doubt! They do not want to help, have a hateful tone and condescending. The talk so fast that you can not understand a word. They care nothing for the patient and want to hang up as fast as possible. I am finding another office!!!

Good Docs/ Horrible Back Office to Get Scripts
So frustrating. Month after month they do not fill for one reason or another. We complain that our child is at school crying with the school nurse, and leave that message, and nothing. I have to say we really liked Miss Shamika.

Out of Pocket Comment and Questions
I saw an NP at Holiner Group (who I loved) and she spent about 2 hours with me listening to every concern I had and making me feel better about starting on medication for ADHD and anxiety. I will certainly continue to see her. Dr. Holiner showed up at my appointment for about 5 minutes just to approve the prescriptions. In the little time he spent at my appointment, he happened to recognize the college I attended and then continued with, "Are you in a sorority?". After I answered he said, "Oh, are all your sorority sisters blonde?" Not only was this comment extremely superficial and unprofessional, but it made me feel uncomfortable as he was implying that the fact that I was blonde and in a sorority was something negative. I get small talk to understand a patient's background, but this put a bad taste in my mouth. I am honestly glad that the NP was the person I spent most of my time with because she was knowledgeable, comforting, and did not make unprofessional comments.

What does this person even do? had an appointment with him recently, only saw the dr for sbout 2 minutes, and spent 99% of my time there with his staff, who asked me all of the questions and then directly relayed the issues to him and perscribed medication. during this time this man was obscenely rude and talked over me with any question or concern I had. he was very pushy and all around a trashy human being. was informed that I would pretty much only be seeing his staff. which given that they werent rude would probably be for the best however I am paying to see a doctor not a nurse pratitioner, so if im not being treated by a doctor then the price should reflect that. All in all this doctor is absent, arrogant, and a scum bag. I am shocked he is inthe psychoatric medicine field as his behavoir could exacerbate the syptoms someone with mental health issues.

Dr. Holinder treated my family member at Green Oaks Hospital. He and his allied health professionals helped in alleviating a very deep depression, which motivated my family member in being the “best they can be,” years after his assistance. -Dr. Inez Brabeck

Worst Psy. I have ever been to. Skip this place to receive good care. It's nothing but a revolving door and you are just a number and some money.

I had a very simple not a big deal issue at all and I observed everyone there carefully and it looked like they all hated their jobs, they were all so angry. I was treated like total crap so I never went back, once was more than enough. Ugh....

After being a patient for over 10 years over the last few years I have been shuffled from one PA to another. The last two visits with different PA's were horrible. Neither took the time to listen to any issues. One spent maybe 7 minutes with me . Told me let's try this med. Come back in two weeks. I said no, I am cash pay I will call you and let you know about the med and my bodies reaction. Next visit, different PA , I was told I was required to take a urine test. Why ? I was told I was required every 6 months . I told her I was cash pay so I needed to know how much this would cost She told me , and I quote , " probably $40.00 - 50.00. NOPE, received the bill $215.00 . The Holiner group has accepted no responsibility in two lies. 1. That it is required 2. The approximate cost. I get that he PA may of had no idea of the cost but you don't tell a patient, especially a cash pay an approximate cost and then to be so far off. I have referred patients in the past but never again.

I was hospitalized and Dr. Joel Holiner was assigned my case. Instead of listening to me when I talked he SANG. He sang whatever he was writing down, he repeated pieces of what I said in a song, and he sang Statler Brothers at me. He made me feel that I was unimportant-just another wrist band, just another file. He wrote prescriptions for medications that I told him I do not need, he had to be told repeatedly that I could not take a medication he prescribed. He wrote 2 of the scripts wrong!

If you wanted to be treated like a number, and see a NP once a month for five minutes, and never your doctor, go here. The office staff is rude, not helpful, treats you like garbage, and is not at all compassionate. I was told if I wanted to see a doctor, it was a two month waiting period. so your appt with the NP lasts five minutes, and they truly ONLY care about money.

He never has time for you. He has other important things to do. I actually saw him for quite awhile and never spent more than 5 minutes with the guy. However, he was the one who finally got my medications right. He fakes the “Ill pretend I give a damn about you” and it may show if you see him more than once. If you only see him a few times, my guess is you MAY get one of the fake half smiles as he is busy checking a million boxes on a form about you instead of actually getting to know YOU...

My little sister is being treated by Dr. Holiner which he hasn't helped her one bit. She has anxiety and he refuses to give her meds for it. He listens not to my sister, but our mother who is on pain meds, lies constantly, and going crazy. I thought the Dr. Was going to do his job, but he has failed. He a worthless Doctor, lots of bad reviews, and doesn't listen to young patients. I would never let him be responsible for my child. Worthless!

Horrible. I thought I was going to be treated by an MD. I paid for an MD. What I got was a condescending PA who did not know enough about the nature of OCD to be treating it. Not only that, average visit time is about seven minutes. Just awful, all the way around. I really can't emphasize that enough.

My experience here at Holliner Psychiatric group was terrible. Dr. Joel Holiner was in my first appointment for less than 5 minutes. I mainly spoke with his nurse assistant, which was also not a very pleasant experience. When I asked for clarification on my diagnoses, his nurse was very short and for some reason got offended. It all felt like a drive through diagnoses and not talking me through the process more. I was very sad and frustrating experience to say the least. Please be advised!!!!!!!
