I call him the G-Doctor!! My scoliosis is 50 percent now and he has me living a full life and controls my pain through various techniques including ablation injections and assorted techniques. He is as fine a physician as you would ever have and consider myself blessed. My four years of treatments give him a 5 star rating. Mine I said, a G-doctor.

Saw me briefly, but billed me for a long visit
Dr. Vongvorachoti saw me for less than ten minutes and billed me $473 for what he described in the insurance claim as 'a 45-59 minute' visit. Nonsense. I won't make the same mistake twice.

Needs better communication skills
Dr. Vong knows his stuff and has helped me with pain in the past. But appointments are short and he assumes you already know everything. Recently two times I came for a cortisone shot and the first was informed "we don't do them on Thursdays.". The second time I was turned away because I had not stopped my pain meds two days before. Usually one gets a printed sheet with what to expect and what you need to do or not do before and after the procedure. Dr. Vong may have mentioned not to take pain meds but if so, it was mentioned casually and fast, and it was two weeks before the procedure, and it didn't register with me and there was no reminder. I spent over $100 in cabs getting to those two fruitless appointments. He needs better communication skills!

I have been seeing Dr. Von for a few years and he has helped me a lot with pain management. I have herniated discs throughout my neck and back, and have nerve issues with my hand as well. He is attentive and always reminds me of what I can do on my end to improve my conditions. He recommends the right exercises and medications to improve pain and discomfort. I also have injections and epidurals done by him that also help me a lot. He is professional and caring, something I've found does not come easy to find in doctors throughout the many years I've been treating this condition.

Good doctor, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, seemed to genuinely listen. Provided a realistic diagnosis not focused on fast tracking to surgery. Prescribed physical therapy which proved helpful. Suggested weight loss which makes sense, this and previous will hopefully delay surgery for a decade.

I saw Dr. VonGvorachoti at Riverside Orthopedics at 5 Columbus Circle in August, 2018. He was recommended by my PT therapist at Miccass Physical Therapy. I thought he was great. I would happily recommend him to familly and friends.

At first I was skeptical because of some other reviews out there, but so far in my experience, he has been extremely helpful regarding my condition. I have been in pain for almost 3 years and have tried many things, but nothing worked, mostly because I didn't have a diagnosis. Dr. Vong was able to diagnose that I have a degenerated disc in my neck. He provided me with an exact prescription for my physical therapist, and gave me acupuncture which had incredible results. Will continue with Dr. V.

Do not go to this Doctor Von Joe. He is not a good Doctor. He is too young to be a real Doctor. No experience no knowledge very rude not helpful dishonest doctor ruin other peoples life and cases. Submits wrongful medical reports, avoid him anyway you can. I had a bad experience with this Doctor Joe Von.
