She tried but failed!
Very little interest in understand ing my condition. More complex than most but she gave little effort and yet thought she understood. Her notes were riddled with errors. Not the sharpest tool in the shed!

Pass
Not impressed first visit, dr was very opinionated and would let you know how she felt. Thought I would give her a second chance, and walked out on her. She fits the Piedmont mold, of just passing the buck and not helping for what you came in for. First appt, learned she was incapable of doing a Pap smear. But she'll give you a name! Second time in, not happy that I didn't get a rx from a Piedmont doc. Went outside the system and this upset her because Piedmont docs know me so well. Well, if that isn't a lie. They don't care to know or listen to me at all. Take a pass on this doctor.

Love Dr. Chitwood but she's no help when I am sick
I called her office today to get an appointment. I have a piched nerve in my back causing a lot of pain and tingling in my arm. I was told her first appointment is at the end of April, nearly 8 weeks from today. I'm in a lot of pain and asked if there was another doctor that could handle emergencies and was told to go to urgent care. I always thought my primary care doctor was the first stop if I'm sick and/or in a lot of pain. Apparently this is not true at Piedmont Healthcare. Note, this is the second time I've needed to be seen and was told there was no appointment available for months and to go to urgent care. Very disappointing.

Disappointed
I did not like this doctor and will be leaving her practice. Dr. Chitwood was not at all friendly and seemed disinterested in me as an individual. She was negative and critical, acting more like a stern school principal than a physician and partner in health care. Her focus was on her computer with very little effort to engage with me. Her strong CV does not make up for her bedside manner.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Jodi Chitwood during most of out 20 year stay in the Atlanta area and we have had nothing but positive experiences with her. Everyone in her office is friendly and professional. She takes the time to answer our questions and is very knowledgeable about different conditions. We trust her advice and are glad we were able to find her as our family Doctor. Highly recommended and appreciated.

I have visited her twice and I just don’t feel like she really heard or tried to help my concerns I even asked for a x ray And she told there are only for bones she must not understand that I know x rays can see other things besides bones. She jus recommended to different doctors with no type of imaging or anything to show them I will not go back. My appointments where so short 15mins too I felt rushed out

I have been going to Dr. Chitwood for about 5 years. Overall, I am very pleased. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. I also like that she is in a group practice. If she is out, I can see someone else.
