Dr. Jobelle Joyce A Baldonado, MD

Dr. Baldonado is a compassionate, caring, fabulous surgeon. I feel so blessed to have her as my surgeon - she's saved my life and hopefully I'm cancer free! I dearly love her! She has done multiple surgeries on me and she always makes me feel confident that she's got this. She explains everything really well and takes her time to make sure I understand exactly what she is doing. She checks in on me and has even called me from home to check on me. Awesome doctor what is SO dedicated to her profession.

From the first moment we met her, through my mother's robotically assisted wedge segmentectomy to remove a cancerous lung nodule, to the post-operative care, Dr. Baldonado could not have made us feel more secure in her expertise or more cared for. She was patient with my mother's anxiety over the procedure, stopped by several times post-surgery to check on her, and even called from Prague to check on my mother's 2 week post-op appointment, which her PA more than ably handled. We received prompt responses to questions we sent through the portal, and Dr. Baldonado really listened to my mother's concerns and questions. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you to Dr. Baldonado and the entire thoracic team at Moffitt!

Dr. Baldonado in Thoracic is an excellent doctor, very informative and always answers my questions

Dr. Baldonado performed a rather complicated lung surgery on me to free a "trapped" lung which had become infected and collapsed. She did a fantastic job and I could not be more satisfied with her performance. She gets my highest rating.

Not only is my husband able to leave the hospital earlier than we expected due to the skill as a surgeon but we feel at ease as she is a very effective communicator. We absolutely understand what is going on and what we need to do. She doesn’t act rushed. While I honestly hope never to see her again after he is released from her care we would recommend her in a heartbeat.
