Dr Bengston doesn’t perform most of her surgeries, her resident does. I had a very bad outcome, it may have been different if she had performed it herself.

I have seen Dr. Bengtson for many years, for routine checkups and for one surgery. She was recommended by a former OBGYN. I have total confidence in her expertise, and I respect her greatly.

This Doctor is at the top of her field. The other issues are irrelevant. If you have a serious prolapse, she is the one you want. I had one so difficult my doctors in SF felt they could not do it. My doctor at MGH in Boston assured me Dr. Bengtson was the best and she was. While prepping me, both nurses assured me she was not only beloved but a rockstar in medical circles. There are just things as a patient you can't always know, and it is not always bedside manner, its skill and experience.
