Dr Giaconi lacks empathy or concern when I needed a simple question answered about a medication my son was prescribed by another following physician. It's seems to be a game of Musical Chairs at Juels Steins Glaucoma department. I feel if you started out being my son's doctor and you were the one that did his surgery you and only you should be attending to him but instead I feel like my son has been used as a lab project for students that need that experience and because of it professional care and attentiveness isn't being practiced. Appointment times take entirely too long for a 10 minute visit. Fellow doctors never return calls about important issues. My family has had the worst care at Juels Steins and at this point I wish to God I never trusted them with my son's condition because it's worst than ever now.

terrible bedside manner
She might be knowledgeable, but she also has horrendous bedside manner. Given a choice I'm finding another doctor.

Dr. Jo Ann Giaconi asked pertinent questions and answered all of my questions and concerns regarding my cataract surgery. I would highly recommend her. She was recommended by my internal medicine doctor.

Realize that Dr. Giaconi is a master in her sphere of medicine . Know that you are in exceptional hands and that your health is first and foremost in Dr. Giaconi s mind. She is beyond a eye doctor , I see her as a technician of the scared. She Rocks! Gil Martinez
