Dr. Jiyeon Jeong, MD

IF YOU MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING TO UCLA AND GET THIS DOCTOR, IMMEDIATELY ASK TO BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL. CHARLATAN IS A PERFECT WORD TO DESCRIBE HER. SHE PROBABLY GRADUATED DEAD LAST IN HER CLASS. MY BRILLIANT HIGH SCHOOL RELATIVE IS MORE KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT MEDICINE THAN THIS 'DR.' WHOEVER GAVE HER A 5 IS CLEARLY A FAMILY MEMBER- OR MAYBE JEONG HERSELF.

I wasted my time immensely working with Doctor Jeong. I had to fight her about the most basic facts about my immune condition, because she refused to speak to my primary specialist or crack open a textbook once. I had been told for months I was part of her vaunted extensivist program, I even left the hospital and suffered at home almost a week specifically to speak to her and begin with the program, in hopes that she would increase communication between my doctors. Instead she apparently decided she was my primary care doctor, a decision I was left out of, and only that. Don't waste your time with this charlatan, get a real doctor. Doctor Jyeong and the UCLA extensivist program exists only as a fashion statement for the hospital, they will only waste your time. Her denial of resources, for no reasons stated at all (I was not even told to my face that i am not part of the program) have seriously injured me by delaying my care substantially, and likely meaning i will have to start over.
