Dr Youn is very compassionate and listens. She is very knowledgeable and an expert in her field. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a stroke neurologist.

Truly a great doctor- so caring. She explained things so well, answered all our questions in a way we can understand, and took the time to show and explain the scans. She treated us like family- My wife was in tears because she was so supportive. We are very thankful to her for helping us through a real tough time.

I am very impressed with Dr. Youn as a neurologist. She was very thorough when asking me questions. She also listened intently to my questions and provided me with answers I understood and we worked together to develop a plan of action to improve my health. She is an excellent doctor. I have doctors within family that considered transfer to a large academic center in the city but got just as good, possibly better care under her. I couldn’t be happier with the choice.

I couldn’t talk at all when my daughter first brought me in. Dr Youn came in soon after I got tpa treatment, and she showed me the picture of my brain- she explained so kindly in words I could understand (I do not have much medical knowledge) that they were able to save my brain from having a complete stroke. Thanks to everyone that day, I am now fully recovered and able to play with my grandchildren again. Throughout my stay and even on follow up, she was just amazing- I am a very anxious person, but she put me at ease, and she answered my husband’s thousand questions so patiently. I haven’t met many doctors so sweet and trustworthy.

Saw Dr. Youn for bleeding in my head during my trip. I was recommended to her from the ER in a small town in AZ and was transferred to Barrow's Institute And couldn't be more pleased with the experience. She is not only skilled but kind, thorough and accessible. Couldn't have found a better doctor and I'm so thankful!
