Dr. Jimmy Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen was responsible for providing care to my husband as he was experiencing a stroke mimicking seizure following an ischemic stroke just 2 days prior. Dr. Nguyen insisted that he never did experience a stroke prior, that the previous practitioner (a higher ranking medical professional practicing at the same hospital) misdiagnosed his stroke and thus unnecessarily administered TPA. Due to his uniformed opinion and diagnosis my husband continued to experience seizures, with no answer, just left to believe it was a migraine. Fortunately we recognized inaccuracies along with noting that Dr. Nguyen had not fully communicated my husbands stay nor how they treated him after inducing an emergency medication reaction. This took place during the Covid pandemic. Dr. Nguyen not once called to explain the status of my husband, who for the majority of his time with Dr. Nguyen was non-verbal as a result of his medical status. Always do your own due diligence.
