Dr. Jimmy Jiang, MD

I have been to other doctors with regards to my many hand issues. Not one was able to see and explain what I needed like Dr Jiang. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was!

He was very knowledgeable and professional about my surgery. He explained everything that was going to happen during surgery throughly. I have already and will definitely recommend him to anyone that's looking to get evaluated

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction disgust with the care my son received under the care of Dr. Jimmy Jiang. Initially, after consulting with multiple doctors, we were reassured by Dr. Jiang’s confident statement that the surgery would be a success and that there would be no visible issues with my son's hand afterward. However, following the procedure, my son developed a significant bump on his hand, which Dr. Jiang has dismissed as merely 'cosmetic' and of no real concern. 'The bone just grew back thicker,' he says!!! While I understand that the doctor may perceive the issue as minor, it has caused significant distress, caused my son to be limited in sports and at work given the fact that he is a very athletic person, and I feel that our concerns have not been adequately addressed. Additionally, I am disappointed by Dr. Jiang's lack of engagement and bedside manner. He showed little interest in my son's post-operative recovery, delegating all follow-up care to his nurse rather

Didn't listen and rushed all visits determining the cause of pain in my hand and after surgery visits. Had pain between middle and ring finger, loss of use. While there, I let him know I was concerned how large the knuckles were and the base of my pointer finger, and the middle of my thumb. He said' Oh, I can fix that'. We weren't talking about the same thing. It's been a 1yr and 2mo since the surgery, and the surgery on the middle finger has began to hurt several months ago, still pain and sensitivity on the thumb and first fingers. Have developed trigger finger on ring and small finger, ganglia cyst and either scar tissue, calcification, or scar tissue below my middle finger in the palm area. So no, I do not recommend him. Perhaps had he taken the time to really figure out what was going on, I wouldn't be going through this.

I am recently recovering from thumb surgery by Dr. Jiang . I have been dealing with thumb pain over a year. Lately the pain has gotten so bad I couldn’t endure it any longer. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Jiang and I got an appointment within a week later. From my first appointment for diagnosis to the surgery and now to recovery Dr. Jiang has been amazing. He diagnosed my trouble immediately, took X-rays and explained the surgery. I’ve so far had three visits, fourth one is coming up. I cannot praise Dr. Jiang and his entire staff more. They are extremely professional, informative and just nice in every way. I’m so happy my friend recommended him to me. My thumb is healing wonderfully and i will soon start rehab! He performed surgery on my wrist several years ago and was very pleasant and gave me great confidence. Although he nicked an artery and had to fix that, the surgical result was good. I went in for a new issue this week and it was like a totally different person. Cocky, dismissive, and seemed more concerned with telling me how he does more surgeries than anyone, than being concerned with my care. I even heard him disparaging me to his staff as I was leaving. I don't know what changed in the last 5 years but I'm finding a new surgeon. Totally unacceptable.

Best Doctor. Explains everything by taking his time without rushing. And listens to what we have to say. Very caring, I highly recommend Dr.Jiang.

Had a very serious and complicated injury to my left hand from an accidental gunshot. I met with 2 other surgeons before seeing Dr Jiang and new immediately I would receive the world class care I was looking for. His staff is amazing, immediately made me feel at ease and ensured all of my concerns were well documented. Appointments are easily made, the wait times are nonexistent and you will get a timely response should you leave a message. Dr Jiang is a serious professional with extensive training, deep knowledge within his expertise and the breadth of experience that matters. He obviously cares and spends whatever time is needed to ensure all questions and or concerns are addressed. If surgery is required you can count on him to be there before and after providing reassurance that lessons the natural anxiety. I’ve spent a lot of time with him and team and with every visit, procedure and or surgery my confidence grows that I will ultimately regain full function. You can’t go wrong.

Dr. Jiang is the epitome of professional, competent and personal healthcare. I’ve literally had 15 major surgeries in my lifetime (not ortho) and my recent surgery to release my trigger thumb - done today - was the best surgery I’ve ever had. I’ve seen Dr. Jiang numerous times for my thumb in his office and today was simply the final solution. My hand. Who do you trust with your hand? Dr. Jiang earned it. He’s just fabulous all the way around. Can not recommend him enough. Thank you Dr. Jiang for all your care. I couldn’t be happier.

When my mother broke her wrist, I asked my nurse friends at Northside Cherokee which orthopedist they would recommend. Dr. Jiang was the name that came up over and over again. I can see why now. He is personable, takes time to explain not just the surgery but all the postsurgery care. He pieced together my mom's wrist and had her in therapy a week after surgery. The surgery and every followup visit was so smooth and efficient. Very please with her care from the doctor and his staff.

Great surgeon, great bedside manners, had great results after my surgery

Dr Jiang did my husband's carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. He is 100% better after surgery. He did both surgeries with local only which made it easy on my husband who has a lot of medical problems. My husband was even allowed to eat breakfast before surgery which was great since he is a diabetic.

Best doctor I've seen in years. Thoughtful, through, spends a lot of time discussing whether surgery is the best option or not. He gives you a straight answer and never pressures you to do surgery. Just walks you through the whole process so well and with all the important info to know.

Excellent Physician with spot-on diagnostics! Takes time to explain options and treatments; very effective doctor. Highly recommended.

This whole clinic is outstanding. My husband tore his tricep while working out. I was happy to see they had a new doc who specialized in upper extremity procedures. When he realized the tricep was tore about 65% Dr. Jaing recommended sx due to his fitness level and desire to lift weights. The sx went extremely well. He had very little pain and the recovery was seamless. He took the time to answer all of my husbands questions and he never felt rushed.

Not very happy with my experience went in for minor surgery to remove a cyst fro my thumb, not only is it still there but worse and now have a damaged nail bed.. on top of that got a mysterious bill THREE months later for $1700 don't know what it is for and was not discussed with me, was told how much it would cost up front and pre paid that amount. Don't trust him to go back to cut into me any more!
