If you want to waist your time & money then this is your doctor. After a month of my appointment I still can’t get my prescription. They can’t seem to send it to the right pharmacy in a timely manner. I have asked them several times ( not just twice) about questions regarding my bloodwork & I’ve yet to hear anything back. The initial call regarding my results was someone from the front desk with no medical background that couldn’t read the doctor’s handwriting. & like other reviews. Be ready to spend 3 hours on your appointment.

I was so happy with my doctor until now
This doctor is leaving me without my pain medication for over 1 month because I was in a car accident and the Er gave me 28 pain pillson July 4th. I think is unfair he gives narcotics to people who don’t need them but here I am with lupus, fibromyalgia, ms and now a messed up leg. But staff wants to charge me now 2 times. This is very unprofessional for a doctor to not care for his patient. He can at least give me pain medication for 2 weeks he’s counting 28 pills for 1 whole month……

I've been seeing Dr. Doan for several years now. I now live in Missouri City and refuse to find a doctor closer. I drive to Pasadena just to see him. He has good bed side manner. He listens to your concerns and explains everything to you. The wait is long, but I do not complain because I know I will get answers and I know I will get the best care.

I was referred to Dr. Doan 2 yrs ago from a close friend. I was just not getting the communication that I felt I deserved from my previous doctor. After my initial visit with Dr. Doan, I felt like I had been cheated out of good health care for the past 20 yrs. Dr. Doan was kind, polite, and clearly very knowledgeable. But most important, he made me feel like he cared by listening intently, making suggestions, and finally asking for MY feedback. I have been an RN for over 20 yrs, and I just have never seen this type of genuine compassion and empathy from a doctor. Needless to say, I have referred my entire family and countless friends to see Dr. Doan, and they feel the exact same way about their experience. My last advice for everyone would be; be an educated consumer. Demand a doctor’s respect by coming in prepared with questions. Dr. Doan has exceeded my every expectation, so I plan on coming back for years to come.

Dr. Doan is truly a throwback I can’t begin to describe the compassion this man has for his patients. My 9 yr old son has always been very scared of shots, dreading doctor visits, since he was a baby. Dr. Doan took the time to ask my son about his baseball team, even taking the time to analyze his batting stance and swing. This seemed to make my son so much more comfortable and no longer afraid of the 3 shots he was about to get. After our visit, Dr. Doan even gave him some baseball cards. I’m just at a lost for words what Dr. Doan was able to accomplish in 1 office visit, that mult other doctors were not able to do for 9 yrs. My son now looks forward to his annual check ups. Can you imagine that? Thank you Dr. Doan for just being yourself.

Words can not describe what Dr. Doan has done for our family over the last 16 yrs. He detected a blockage in my dad’s heart, essentially preventing a fatal heart attack. He correctly diagnosed my mom with Hep C, and appropriately referred her for treatment. To this day, both are still alive and doing well because of Dr. Doan. This is the reason why my wife and I, along with our 2 kids have all entrusted our health in the hands of this brilliant but extremely humble man.

Do not waste your time on this doctor. When you have an appointment, be sure to take at least 3 hours before being seen. Also, I have called over the course of this month concerning my medications and still cannot get a call back. I had blood work taken in December, so that my prescriptions could be renewed for another year. As of my fourth message left, I am out of two of my prescriptions and have not received even one phone call back. Very unprofessional. To top it all off, I had already

He's hands down the best of the best. People that are upset with him are not at all reasonable. He is very good at what he does, and he has always put patient care first. Best doctor I have ever had.

U can't get results unless u go back in and pay another copay. I needed some paper work done and nearly 100.00 later I still don't have the correct paperwork. Not to mention how much he charges the insurance companies. Staff won't tell u to make another appt. They say they're taking a message. He's the only Dr u can't talk to on the phone. Staff won't give any information info. It's a guessing game at best. Will never recommend this Dr to anyone . Floors are dirty, too much clutter in hall.

Wait time in the waiting room is almost 2 hours. My daughter has been having tummy problems. Dr Doans office drew blood but didn't take enough so my 5 year old had to go back n give more blood. The nurse said the results would b back in a few days and coming up now on a week n a half still no results, and I have called several times to check.
