Dr. Jimmy Chow, MD

Took time and care. I have a language disability after a Brain Injury, and sometimes have a hard time understanding, but Dr. Chow was wonderful! He explained everything to me and gave an extensive amount of time to answer all of our questions. He made sure I was prepared for my surgery and understood everything, and made a hip replacement so much easier than I ever could’ve imagined.

i had a total knee replacement with Dr Chow he was amazing explained everything great bedside surgery at 730 Am discharged home at 5 pm had a nerve block no pain and great pain control with meds up walking plastic closure have a small thin scar back to work as an emergency nurse in 10 weeks Dr chow is the best

Dr. Chow explained the surgery in lay terms that were very easy to understand. The whole process was seamless.Following his protocol has lead to a speedy recovery. I highly recommend Dr.Jimmy Chow.

Dr Chow did a great job with my knee replacement. I had few problems and was very pleased. Followup initially was with Dr. Chow and then by his PA (who was professional, knowledgeable, listened well). I liked being able to do telemed for some of the appointments as I am not from Phoenix.

After thoroughly vetting and meeting with several other practices, I felt cared for and watched over at each step by the dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring staff. A list-minute surgical date change, and a hospital glitch, were deftly handled by his team. Dr. Chow, his stellar reputation notwithstanding, was engaging. I had his full attention during our pre op teleconference. We talked at length, as we did again during the pre-surgery in-person visit. As to cost, I wanted the best, given all the horror stories I had heard about from similar surgeries. Also I had no qualms as to the outcome nor any anxiety. At three weeks post-surgery, I have zero hip pain and no pain from the surgery itself. I continue to use a walker to help me focus on not faltering and to concentrate on moving slower. I begin PT soon and know that I will be as able as any 83 yo to accomplish any tasks and to resume my desired life style.

This doctor makes patients wait THREE HOURS to see him! This happens each and every time! This is unacceptable! They purposely triple schedule the appointment times. When asking why they do this the office staff is apologetic however Dr. Chow doesn't care.

Surgery went great and I’m doing well after one week. Dr. Chow’s staff and the hospital staff were great. With that said, I was surprised that no one from Abrazzo or Dr. Chow’s staff called to see how I was doing after the surgery.

Was very informative and not pushy. Gave options and explained in simple terms. Answered all my questions. Bottom line was he made me feel comfortable and at ease.

During my first meeting with Doctor Chow it was very evident he had reviewed my records and evaluated the up coming surgery benefits he expected for me.

Dr. Chow is fantastic. I'm two weeks postop today after a partial knee replacement, and I'm walking around pain-free. I just had my first PT appointment, and it was very positive. I appreciate Dr. Chow's care for his patients, his skill as a surgeon, and the great team in his office. I had an issue that came up two days after surgery, so I called the emergency number they gave me and Dr. Chow himself answered the phone on a Saturday morning. A good friend of mine used to work for him as a nurse, and she highly recommended him. She told me his patients usually have excellent results. I'm glad I took her advice.
