I had my right thyroid removed 11.18.20. I am very pleased with my surgery and scar. If I could show a photo of how great it’s healed I would. I appreciate his great bedside manner also. He never made me feel rushed and was very informative to help me in my decisions.

Dr Gavras did a great job with my hernia repair surgery. I have no complaints about him. I do however have a complaint against whoever it was that answered the phone on 9/2/20 at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon. I called to see about getting my medical records as I was going to see a GI specialist the following week. My surgery was in 2015, at that time I was not working and my insurance was through the Obamacare marketplace. I received a bill for $354.00 some time later, apparently my insurance did not cover the whole surgery. I was unemployed and unable to pay at that time. Time went on and sadly I forgot about this balance. Fast forward to 9/2/20..I was made aware of the balance owed and was asked to pay this in full. When I explained I could not do that, but I would try and figure out a way to make payments. I was told that I could not do that because it had been to long. I asked for my medical records and was so told that I could not have them until I paid my balance

Second surgery in last year, found him efficient and thorough, would highly reccomend.

I highly recommend Dr Jimmie Gavras. He has a heart of gold! Dr Gavras did breast surgery on me and it looks fabulous. (I was no easy case) His patience and help is greatly appreciated. He's considered the best of the best and rightly so.
