He is a caring and compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. He is thorough in his diagnosis and explains the results of any tests he orders so the patient understands. He reviews the results and tella the patient exactly what that means. He then advises the way(s) the condition can be taken care of. He refers other very respected and well qualified specialists when necessary. If he refers his patient to someone, I know it is someone he respects and my even use himself if necessary.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Elam?
Been going to Dr. Elam for over a decade. Don't know why. He has continuously misdiagnosed me from one condition to another and has shrugged off my concerns as a natural part of aging. These conditions have gotten substantially worse and I am not that old. Had to self-refer and go out of Springfield to get proper medical care. Had a friend who died under this doctor's care. Misdiagnosed his ALS.
