I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast cancer & was sent to Dr. Bolene to get a Port put in. He used staples to suture instead of stitches which required a PAINFUL follow up visit in 10 days to get them removed. The incision separated & has left a nasty, ugly scar. Also, requiring a cancer patient to go to an additional visit to get staples removed makes our lives even more stressful. The nurses were amazing & the only good thing out of the awful experience.
