I have been under Dr. Ruan’s care for several years. She is a kind and brilliant physician who never rushes the visit. She is well spoken, explains everything in calm & easily understandable detail. So glad to have her as my physician.

Dr Ruan explained my pathology report and answered all of my questions. She was very compassionate and understanding.

Dr Ruan is my hero. Eighteen months ago I was told I could live maybe 2-4 more years with a very intensive, ongoing course of chemotherapy and possibly a bone marrow transplant. But my doctors and I knew that with my over-reactions to most any medication (including all antibiotics), I could probably not tolerate even the first round of chemo. I did my research for “non-chemo treatments“ and found Dr Ruan, who told me I can live for decades with her protocols. She totally involves me in my treatment decisions, respects my preferences, and is never in any way condescending. Eighteen months later, I am in fine shape and living almost my normal life (but with a few more medical checkups than other 73-year-olds).What a refreshing difference!

She carefully explained my prognosis and treatment options, and helped persuade my health insurer to cover an immunotherapy that was then not common but which turned out to be very effective for me. I am lucky to be well, in remission still eight years later. and confident Dr. Ruan will help if I ever need additional treatments.

Dr. Ruan and staff have been very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate throughout my cancer treatment journey. Would recommend them highly.

I really think Dr Ruan is the consummate professional. Her thoughts are so streamlined and her presentation is in such a way that no more or no less is needed to be said. My advice would be to just listen to Dr Ruan when she speaks. Bravo!
