Compassionate doctor
I went to see Dr. Mao for problems with my health during a very chaotic time in my life. She listened to me and helped me through a great deal. She spent time to explain what was going on with my body, how my relationships are with my family, and what I can do with to get myself better.

Dr. Mao is a no-nonsense type of person. She keeps you accountable and has a lot of integrity. She is my first psychiatrist but the stigma attached to psychiatry is not there as she is not condescending. I would recommend her. Oh and she does not speak Chinese, she does speak Mandarin and Cantonese.

I like the visits with Dr. Mao. She is easily reachable, listens to me, give me hope and helped me a great deal with my problems.

I do not recommend Dr. Mao as she has shown dishonesty. Dr. Mao copromises the patient's care and dismisses to patient's symptoms. This is very dangerous. She also is unable to articulate to in a manner that family members can understand. She has allowed case managers to persuade her into to making decisions that are not best for the client/patient. Shame on her and them that are not taking the patient's real symptoms into consideration. I would not recommend anyone into her care.
