Dr. Jessie Long, MD

Lucky is an understatement! Every parent hopes to find someone who not only listens and supports them as a parent, but also listens and supports their child. Dr. Long is everything you could hope for in a pediatrician. She is warm, caring, personable, and cares about building a relationship with your child. My children absolutely adore her and look forward to going to their appointments! She goes above and beyond for her patients. After seeing and rotating several pediatricians in our previous practice, we immediately connected with Dr. Long and only requested to see her. We are now so happy to have followed her to her new practice. A beautiful new facility with the same loving care. As a mother herself, she knows exactly how to care for your child. She’s always happy, always welcoming, and always there when you need her. ??Thank you, Dr. Long!

Dr. Long is absolutely the best! We have been seeing her since our oldest was two years old (now 8, and his little brother is 3,) and we haven’t looked back. She is the only pediatrician we will see, and it is because of her kind, compassionate care that she extends to both of our kids, as well as to us as parents. She takes the time to listen to our concerns, and being a parent herself, she knows exactly the same worries we all have being one. Her bedside manner is warm, fun, and age-appropriate to each age, and she takes into consideration each child’s comfort level (shy vs. outgoing, because I have one of each). Since moving to her new office at Ridgewood Medical Associates, the kids’ care have been seamless. The best part is that we are able to reach her outside of office hours if needed, which is super important to us having two allergy and asthma kids’ whose conditions can change in an instant. We look forward to our next visits, and for her to see our kids grow too!

I absolutely adore Dr. Long! All of the doctors in the practice have been very nice but I always schedule my appointments with her. I started going to her consistently after my daughter was 3 months, I can tell my daughter felt more comfortable with her and she is now 2.5 yo. She makes my daughter comfortable enough to open up and let her treat her. My son is now 7 months and Dr. Long has been amazing, I had complications during my pregnancy and she made me feel at ease. She takes her time to explain things and doesn’t make you feel like your asking silly questions. She is very knowledgeable and thorough.

My children got Covid tests at Pediatricare with Dr. Long and they keep sending us bills for payment without going through insurance, when Covid tests are covered 100% by our Insurance provider Aetna. Have called both Aetna and the Doctors office and even Aetna has been trying to resolve with the doctor but the doctors office has been unresponsive.
