Very rude and the worst encounter I have ever had
. I had been on leave and was getting care from multiple doctors and moving between two hospitals because the appointments were so far out and of course I want the best doctors. This woman, as I’m trying to give her medical information, is cutting me off, interrogating me and then like trying to verify what I’m saying before I could even fully answer her questions. It was very off putting! Had she let me finish a single sentence she would have know what was done where and by who. Because obviously I had things done that were not done at Loyola. She proceeds to tell me “ I don’t see all of that in your chart. Are you sure it’s not in your head?” I lost it. She’s extremely incompetent, I was so uncomfortable I did not even address my main reason for coming. Horrible and to see in the comments that she has treated other people this way is crazy. I’ll be making a formal complaint with Loyola

I unfortunately wasn't in the room when she was evaluating my son. But after my wife told me that she so much as hinted that my son was either faking it , or that he had some mental problems. This so called expert, literally tried to label him as a mental patient instead of focusing on his history of epilepsy. I wouldn't recommend my dog to see her. She certainly should go back to whatever college she received her graduate and tell them that she needs more training in how you treat a patient.

Helped figure out what was going on with me
I worked with Dr. Wilson for two years. I felt like she actually cared about my well-being and helped me understand what was going on. She thoroughly tracked my neurological condition and referred me to other providers to figure out why I was having so many different kinds of symptoms. Things have been mostly figured out now and I'm doing MUCH better.

Dr. Wilson is the best neurologist I've ever had
Dr. Wilson has been fantastic – the best neurologist I’ve ever worked with. I say “worked with” because that’s how she approaches her patients. She listens to patient concerns while reviewing test results and collaborates on a next course of action. It’s clear that she keeps up with current medications and treatments available – and how they may interact with other non-neurological conditions, medications, etc. She will present a variety of treatments, listing possible side effects, etc. and tailor treatment based upon the patient’s wishes, after educating them and most importantly, LISTENING to them. She was also very prompt in responding to follow up questions and/or concerns after a visit. I feel I got a full range of healthcare as her patient and will miss her greatly since I’ve relocated. I only hope I can find someone as qualified as her in my new city.

Ordered thorough testing
Went for persist dizziness. On the plus side, she ordered a lot of tests. When there were abnormalities simply stated unimportant. Beyond the tests, did not try anything to help. After seeing her for a follow-up while under care of a doctor trying to help stated she would not adjust my meds as that would be too many cooks on the kitchen.

Great doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Jessica Wilson for 5 years. She is a people person. Her knowledge, compassion, concern and sincere interest in my wellbeing is something I haven't experienced before. She is able to "think outside the box" and come up with multiple ways to treat my chronic illness. Dr Wilson is also accessible and responds to messages. Anyone fortunate enough to become her patient will be pleased. She is THE BEST doctor I've ever had!!!

I'm currently under the care of Dr. Jessica Wilson and I would not recommend her. She was very nice during our online visit and suggested short term disability for my illness. I've attempted to connect with her and staff several times regarding the submission of my STD paperwork and I get no responses. It's been 3 weeks of non responsiveness. I would recommend seeing someone else. I've never experienced anything like this with Rush before. Extremely disappointing.

I felt my visit was more of a holistic practitioner lifestyle assessment than seeing an actual Neurologist to evaluate concern for epilepsy and chronic dizziness with migraine, resulting in over 6 bad falls in the past 3 years. I currently have a sprained ankle from falling out of a doorway during a seizure. That was never discussed. She literally prescribed me Magnesium. I believe she has an agenda to provide "Holistic Care" rather than provide treatment. That is not what you go see a Dr for at top-notch Rush for assessment & investigation into your symptoms for a diagnosis. I was very confused. She did not review her recommendations with me for migraine treatment, and told me I need to stop taking anything for my debilitating headaches (and for pain w 2 sprained ankles) "to see if that makes me feel better" - thats ridiculous. Again, this "Dr" who is a Rush Resident clearly has an agenda of her own, its weird.

I recommend Dr. Wilson wholeheartedly. She is kind, attentive, caring, and responsive. Most importantly, Dr. Wilson was the only doctor to correctly diagnose and successfully treat the severe headaches I'd been experiencing almost daily for years. She's given me my life back.

Unfortunately, I felt that I wasn't being listened to, and my chronic health concerns weren't being taken seriously when I met with her. I was told that what I was feeling only came down to stress and that it was all in my head.
