What do you say about a visit where the doctor causes pain, doesn't apologize, then goes on to cause even more pain? Then she acts like it is my fault! Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this office.

The doctor I was seeing is no longer here and they gave me an appt with dr Jessica Ventimiglia, I wasnt happy I hastened to come due to so many horrible reviews on her but I did.I checked in at front desk, they liked my puppy. Nobody said its not pet friendly, until they called me and I saw the doctor. She questioned me why I brought my puppy why I didnt leave her at home and said her patients might have allergies. she gave me lectures scold then practically kicked me out instead of saying, I am sorry we are not pet friendly. Pls make another appointment to come back.I have a 5 lbs 10 mths old maltipoo puppy, hypoallergenic. I didnt want to leave her at home due to my morning schedule changing because of an appt here. although I take her everywhere incl all the doctors appts, not one office had problems with her. She wasted our time this morning! Because Dr J Ventimiglia is a new doctor yet the front desk lady wont tell me how long shes been here.She told me to look it up!

I just walked out of an appointment with Dr. Ventimiglia, who I came to see for peri-menopausal related issues like brain fog, feelings of hopelessness, insomnia that have been escalating over the last several months. She immediately dismissed my concerns and stated that because it hasn’t been a year since my period stopped, it’s been 8 months, and I’ve been treated for depression in the past, that it has nothing to do with my hormones and HRT will not help as it’s only for hot flashes. She told me I should speak to my psychiatrist instead who is literally the one who suggested reaching out about HRT. I am horrified that I was made to feel shame about seeking treatment for my issues. Women have been historically dismissed by doctors and it’s shocking that it’s still happening, by another woman no less. I will be reaching out the medical board about this doctor.

Polite professional and friendly from start to finish .I find Dr Ventimiglia to be a caring and knowledgeable provider . I would highly recommend her and this practice.

Been going to this practice for years and on my 3rd pregnancy. I love every single doc there except I cringe when the only appt I can make work is with Dr Ventamiglia. I keep trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but each time the experience is the same. It’s rushed, she talks over you, very demeaning, any questions or concerns get brushed right over or I’m asked “is that all that’s really going on” . She even reviewed my lab results with me and not an hour after I get home from the appt she calls to tell me my lab results and is shocked I already knew them - she clearly doesn’t pay attention to her appts. This is just the latest of the multiple issues over the years. She even took my baby (1st born) at the hospital after I told her no that we just saw my main doc and we will wait until tomorrow. She took him anyway but thankfully a kind nurse wheeled him back in after Dr V. left him screaming in the hallway for 5-10min. She never even came back in to check in with us after that

I was and am in a bad way due to menopause and bad history of doctors. She was sympathetic, understanding and began HRT for me. I don’t know why people are saying she doesn’t help as I have not experienced nothing but kindness and compassion. I am happy I found her. She saved me from the ledge.

This was my first visit to Dr. Ventimiglia at the Syosset location. I speciifically went to see her regarding menoupause changes/side effects. Dr. V is very educated on this subject and she is up on the latest developments - both of the pharmeceutical variety and over the counter products. We had an easy and fun conversation and discussed EVERY possible option for me and my situation. I never felt rushed or as though I were asking too many questions. I left feeling hopeful and excited to try the medication she recommended. The modern office is very nice and comfortable. Super friendly staff and a convenient location. I am happy to say I have found a new doctor that I like and trust - and she is woman to boot! Oh and they do BONE DENSITY tests on site! That makes it so easy and convenient.

I've seen Dr. Valderrama in the past but she's retired. I saw Dr. Ventimiglia this week for the first time. I felt like the exam was routine and rushed. I had had a hysterectomy a couple of years ago and she said that when she read my chart it said that I had had the operation due to precancerous cells which was not the case at all. We also spoke about the use of bioidentical hormone therapy. She said that the office would never prescribe hormone therapy and will only provide antidepressants to women for hot flashes. The Women's Health Initiative report on hormone therapy has been retracted by the WHI due to poor research. The practitioners do not stay current on research for menopause. I will find a different dr. They might be great for pregnancies. Cannot recommend.

Extremely insensitive. As a 31 year old woman, she spoke to me with a condescending attitude. Left crying. Trying to get help to feel better and the result is always professionals pushing pharmaceutical drugs or birth control.

Dr. Ventimiglia was very demeaning to my daughter. She rushed her, did not answer questions or take the time out to explain anything. My daughter came home crying from her first experience seeing her. If you are young, I would not recommend her.

I have been with this practice for over 15 years, usually see Dr Val but have seen Dr Ventimiglia in the past as well. Scheduled an annual with ease, only a couple of weeks wait time. Appointment was quick, and I’m glad it was because who really wants to go to the GYN? She answered all of my questions and I walked out with the answers I sought after. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Ventimiglia is very professional and caring. She always follows up with me on how I'm doing. I love her. I've recommended friends to her and they feel the same.

I'v been going to Dr. Ventimiglia, for about 9 years, and I have always had a very good experience.

She listened to my concerns, was understanding, and immediately gave me a bone density exam that I was due for and not scheduled in advance. Dr Ventimiglia was thorough and easy to talk with.

Dr Ventimiglia is ALWAYS supportive, pleasant and makes a visit at the Gyn (which, lets face it is not the most desirable place to be) a truly comfortable one,with her easy style and ability to really listen and remember just who you are!

Dr. Ventimiglia is by far one of my favorite doctors and one of the best OBGYN’s I’ve seen. I’ve gone through my fair share over the last decade+ and none have come close to her attentiveness, bedside manner and knowledge. She doesn’t just make you feel like any patient, I always feel heard there and she is very warm. I don’t know many women who enjoy saying “hey, I have to head to my Obgyn appt”, but it is truly not a doctors appointment that I dread going to! And that says a lot. The front desk staff was friendly and the waiting room is always clean! The very minimal wait time is also pretty amazing for a doctors office!

I have been at this practice for many years (usually see dr nodelman) and needed the first available appointment and was booked with her. I have never left this office so disheartened. Absolute worst doctor ever. I have never seen a physician lack such bedside manner and empathy. Was very judgmental of my medical concern. I will never return to her and highly advise everyone to steer clear from her.
