great care
I came back to the hospital for worse infection. Dr. Ramos was my doctor, listened and examined me. She showed concern and thought my infection had worsened. She gave me pain medication and antibiotics through the IV. I got blood work and a CAT SCAN. Dr. Ramos came back and checked on me, told me my results, and told me I needed surgery. I got the surgery and am now recovering. I am very grateful for the care Dr. Ramos gave me

Rude and too important to ask questions
Took my grandmother to the ER after HER physician sent orders for my grandmother to get blood due to a LOW hemoglobin after he ran tests. She questioned EVERYTHING our VERY competent physician told with the test results. My grandmother started getting hives during the transfusion and Dr. Ramos was dismissive even though my grandmother is allergic to various things and knows when she gets hives. Dr. Ramos needs to go back to UF Jacksonville for remediating on her bedside manner, ability to listen to patients, and ability to articulate test results and or diagnosis. TMH is a fine hospital and Dr. Ramos puts a huge stain on the ER.

Arrogance. We went into the ER very concerned and frightened. Found out that my husband had a stroke, among other things, during a previous accident that we had never been informed about so we tried asking her questions. She was rude, not empathetic or sympathetic and would not answer our questions, except for yes he did have a stroke. Just pushed us out the door. As soon as we make it through this trauma I WILL write a letter to the Medical Board. Someone needs to know what her careless behavior started the ball rolling on that day. She should not be allowed to practice on people.
